  1. As title. I have the shards for 2 gen 2 legendaries that I was starting to prep for prior to gen 3 being announced long ago. Now with the new variants I would very much like to get the materials from those shards back so I can use them to craft things for research notes instead.
  2. Strange issue I have had a couple times since the patch yesterday. It's an inconsistent problem, but happened yesterday evening (I dont remember where) and this morning in tangled depths. Its just dark. I had expected lighting and was farming caches before gerent and turned into the nuhoch where there is, I presume, a lighting barrier and it was much darker in there, finished farming nuhoch and went to kill in rata and then help in scar. Interestingly, the turn into Nuhoch actually would have been approximately 6:25am which is the switch from night to dawn when it got much darker. Now, I will say this, I actually liked it for a nighttime ambience, I always thought gw2 night was tooo bright, but the mist in TD still had it's expected texture as if it was affected by ambient light which was a really cool effect, but still seems like a bug. I dont know the timing that this hit me last night unfortunately. I did also do fractals last night which did not seem affected (I mention this because I know fractals day vs night is static.) Again, if this is a game bug and its easily reproducible, I actually wouldnt mind a "darker nights" menu option to activate this bug for the ambience 🤷‍♂️
  3. I didnt even know the trinkets had a misty aura on your characters body. I really like this part. would be awesome if we could get rid of the floaty balls without removing the actual aura though.
  4. I'm sure this has be considered, so I'm more curious why the following route wasnt chosen. For lot of us, is not that we dont want a lesser variant of the "floaty ball" effect, its that we dont want any variant. At least for the time being, Is it possible within the current system to have an option to completely disable the internal buff so their isnt the case of trying to figure out how many buffs should be applied?
  5. This, of course, is the more sensible way of addressing this problem. It just ain't fun sitting around on top of the Astralarium waiting for a meteor. Of course actually fixing how kralkatite and rose quartz is created is the better solution. quartz farming is just silly in its current form for multiple reason. However, barring them actually spending the time to go back and rework that, simply adding to the list of items that count should be a quicker more likely addition. My post was not meant to talk about how kralk ore was actually required, just to make it a little less of an absolute waste.

Request: Can both the astral and stellar skins count toward this item for the achievement.Clarification: I am not requesting that any ascended be REQUIRED merely that they also count.Reason: I dont want to waste 50 kralk ingots on an exotic weapon that i am just going to toss into the forge. If I am going to farm up ingots, I, personally, would craft an ascended so that it is at least something I can use later. Yes, I know alot of people wouldnt do this (see clarification) but I dont honestly see the harm in permitting the more expensive version of the same thing to credit the achievement.
  7. there have been a number of positive things I have seen from this map including something I criticized way back when HoT was first released. this is the first time since silverwastes where I can say that you have finally created a 1) map with a solid meta that 2) ends in an interesting fight that is both 3) rewarding and 4) Not locked behind a long set timer but rather behind player participation and 5) doesnt, at least as of yet, seem to encourage ignoring the main meta like the SW chest farm (though some of the achievements like the bridge one cause deviatinos from that)Now... Collection 1) You do something that grants you a skyscale egg. No timegate on the items, you get an egg and it hatches at the next daily reset unlocking collection 2Collection 2) you do some things, no item time gates, at the next daily reset, the egg hatches giving you a Mini ScyscaleCollection 3) you rep your mini skyscale and run it around the map doing some things.Collection 4) your mini skyscale (which you get to keep) becomes a back gizmo like the C&C short bow collection. you, I dont know, visit some of the skyscales in the map and run the meta or something since skyscale is lore wise a dragon, it can "grow up" and become the full mount as soon as kralk blows up and magic is released.Collection 5) Here, you get your mount. Maybe it doesnt have a full hover bar or whatever you want to call it or maybe the different masteries unlock with successive "training", but it should have been no more than the 3-4 days without the actual mount, and each day, as you see, there is visible progression toward the mount. There are plenty that would still not like this kind of time gating, but, given your quoted goal, this would have at least been a bit more in line with even that. People are seeing no real progression other than in the UI and that does not lend itself to a feeling of progress or a feeling of raising a skyscale.
  8. Dwarven treasure puzzle. If you die in a room, you lose the rune you had picked up and it does not respawn, blocking your progress also, the stairs at the entrance/exit of the red sigil room are too tall for a mount or your character to walk up.
  9. moving this back up. this has been getting worse and worse for me over the last few months. Used to be able to to this no problem, but now just getting worse and worse. I have maybe a 50/50 shot of getting the chest for the event. Yes, I get event credit via a medal (xp/karma). yes I am participating in the entire event. Yes this is the first time during a day (at reset) so event is not even touched during that reset period yet. today is consecutive day 3 currently.
