Phobia.9651's Achievements

  1. This has been a pet peeve of mine ever since the Blue and Yellow Canister Dyes have been introduced. Unlike the Red and Green Canister Dyes the blue and yellow ones aren't grouped together in the Dye panel. For the yellow set is especially eggregious cause the 4 dyes show up all over the place (one among the Mad King dyes, one among the Metallurgic Dyes, one among the Lion's Arch Survivors dyes and one among the Mordremoth dyes). For reference the blue dyes are: Vista, Alpine, Kyanite and Blue Lion The yellow dyes are: Straw, Pineapple, Seraphim and Yellow Lion I would be delighted if someone could look into this 🙂
  2. Yes, I tried twice now, getting an error code 7 after the cutscene and disconnect to character select.
  3. Yes, all besides First Spear's Icon are probably intended not to be salvaged. Though with the Amulet of Celebration there is a case to be made, because the Ancient Norn Cape Pin (Significant Otter) was salvagable. Both have an enrichment with an aura and both are acquired through an achievement.
  4. The folowing 4 trinkets cannot be salvaged either: First Spear's Icon (Path of Fire Act I Mastery) Amulet of Celebration (8th Birthday) Saga's End Draconic Core (Ice Brood Saga) Fractal Troubleshooter's Star (Fractal Rush) I know the Heart of Thorns story mastery amulets couldn't be salvaged for until some years later.
  5. I think I found out the root of this problem, this setting is apparently stored in the local.dat file and when using a 3rd party program that uses the local.dat file in read-only mode (like Gw2Launcher) this setting won't get saved between sessions. So I solved it by creating a new local.dat file that has the achievement section sorted on Total Completion and replaced the previous local.dat with this new one.
  6. I would like it that they split Equipment tab in the Hero panel into two tabs, one solely for Equipment and one for Wardrobe/Outfits/Dyes/Glider Skins/Mounts/Novelties/Miniatures/Finishers/Mail Carriers. Call it 'Personalization' or whatever. Cause you far more often access your Equipment than anything else, this would reduce the potential amount of clicks of getting there. Also move Titles from the Achievements tab to this new 'Personalization' tab. Eventhough you acquire titles through achievements, they make far more sense in a tab dedicated to personalization/customization of the character. Could the White Mantle Portal Device and Position Rewinder be changed into a Novelty? I would also like it if the Mount and Novelty buttons could be fullsize rather than mini.
  7. Yes, this is the main issue I have with the compensation: they compensate based on Legendary Armory capacity rather than amount of obsolete legendaries. Someone who crafted 6x legendary armorsets (3x T2 Triumphant and 3x T3 Triumphant) won't get compensated but someone who crafted 6x legendary armorsets (6x T2 Triumphant) will get compensated. It just makes zero sense.
  8. In a similar vein, not taking mob scaling into account, if you take multiple accounts into instanced content (like story, dungeons, fractals, etc.) and you only actively play one of the accounts and leave the rest at the entrance will they get end credit?
  9. I think this bug got introduced in July 13 update. I always had my achievement section sorted on "Total Completion" rather than "Tier Completion". But now everytime I launch the game it reverts back to "Tier Completion" sorting. Can anyone verify if it happens for them as well?
  10. Please implement the cursor suggestions that have suggested already in this thread, by allowing players to adjust the size and colour plus giving the option for an animated cursor. Secondly, I would like a character selection screen overhaul by making the character list vertical (on the lefthand side of the screen) and giving sorting options for your characters, namely: last played, playtime, age, race, profession, level, alphabetic, and custom/manual. Thirdly, I would like an update to the castbar. Add the name of the spell you are casting/channeling on top of the bar, add a numerical countdown (for casted spells) or a countup (for channeled spells) to the side of the bar, give options for position and size of the bar (personally I would like the bar to be bigger and higher up on the screen).
  11. Let me say this upfront the preview window of 2 weeks is excellent, thank you for that. With the changes to Zeal, Virtues, Tactics, Discipline among others it is time to ask yourself the question should a core specialization support both a power and a condi playstyle or just one of the two? And I don't mean to sound pedantic or patronizing. Cause in my opinion the 5th specialization (Invocation/Discipline/Virtues/Tools/Trickery/Beastmastery/Illusions/Arcana/Soul Reaping) was intended as the Utility specialization not another DPS specialization. When you allow both the 1st and 2nd specialization (Devastation+Corruption/Strength+Arms/Zeal+Radiance/Explosives+Firearms/Deadly Arts+Critical Strikes/Marksmanship+Skirmishing/Domination+Dueling/Fire+Air/Spite+Curses) to be the DPS specs that both support power AND condi simultaneously (Elementalist probably being a bit of an oddity in that regard) it kind of becomes self explanatory what belongs in those specializations and what doesn't. In summary if you stick to the mantra of DPS/DPS/Support/Support/Utility for the 5 core specializations balancing things will be that much more simple and logical. Alternatively if you want the first two core specializations to only support EITHER power OR condi playstyles you could sacrifice the 5th specialization for being that amplifier that serves both styles. For all the talk of purity of purpose I think this is the most essential thing to ask yourself as a balance team: how do you want your 5 core specializations to line up. And stick to that decision for all 9 professions, cause right now it's absolutely inconsistent. PS. Could Revenant get a logical reordering of the specializations in the Hero panel, ie. Devastation/Corruption/Retribution/Salvation/Invocation in that order?
  12. The recipe has been restored in yesterday's patch.Shame that it had to take 161 days, but thank you nonetheless Arenanet :)
  13. Yes, I am for this as well given that Discovered recipes become accountwide as well. This also removes the potential problem of people "forgetting" a discipline by accident. In my case it would actually incentivize me to buy the Additional Crafting Licenses from the Gem Store. Cause as it stands today I never feel like leveling crafting again when I create a new character, but having the ability to pick upto 4 crafting disciplines at max level from the getgo sounds pretty sweet.
  14. The Swarm Logging Flute has the exact same issue. The animation finishes before the 3rd strike. I contacted support about it and the only solution was a refund in my case. I can't understand why for the love of God they can't just normalize the gathering speeds across all gathering tools.
  15. I never claimed it to be a big issue, it's just given the track record of "double-click to consume" it would make perfect sense to implement it here as well.
