  1. It’s not a big deal, but it extends my intention was only to highlight the problems related to Guild Wars 2, for everyone. (Personally having left the game, I have no interest in the sense that it will not bring me anything since I no longer play it, I do not know if my paragraph is clearer here). By having chosen to talk about those who had left (because I know that it exists, that I am sporadically part of it today) I wanted to demonstrate in a momentum of "justice" will say, that ArenaNet did not do things it was necessary. It doesn’t have a specific interest because they don’t care, I know, but it has the merit of existing contrary to what the company proclaims loud and clear. (It only took me 5 minutes to create the topic after all...)
  2. To be more precise I use Reverso, but yes I am aware of it for what it is worth I do not believe that the initial intention of my sentences is so impacted except a few Bordeaux speeches. And that doesn’t change my opinion on the subject in any way, but now I think it’s time to leave room for other more interesting topics than to wonder if I’m right or wrong in my statements... I said what I had to say, and I’m done with it. Good luck.
  3. Don’t say what I didn’t say... But then, if you’re not interested, why answer? I’m curious? Because as it is, this post does not serve me, but serves others: that’s the goal. Nothing more. It’s very likely that it also exists to hope to give a boost to Guild Wars 2, as factual proof of what is, see it as a stab in the back if it sings to you (and I assume it), but believe that I will constantly look at the results... if you think that you have any importance in my eyes you are mistaken.: ) In a few days, I would have completely forgotten the existence of se topic, and yours at the same time. One is not incompatible with the other in any case.
  4. People cite me, and question me, I answer I am educated so, it is quite normal... for the messages that remain it is simply questions with subjects that interested me at a key moment of the topic, which is therefore made to discuss, since the news was recent, that’s all. There is nothing blatant about that. You can also check since you like so much investigate and speak for nothing: but I have before the current topic, not posted since August 2023 (surrounding date when I left Guild Wars 2...), thank you to educate before judging unnecessarily.
  5. Poor reasoning. I left the game, came back to talk about Guild Wars 3 and that’s it. I would not stay, unless I have news that interests me, if the need makes me feel it. This poll exists for you, not for me, personally I have no interest in it, and nen would get nothing because my opinion is already set in stone. If you could create more useful comments to the topic it would be more interesting than repeating the same record because you are frustrated. Next. =>
  6. For my case, I only came back "there" to discuss Guild Wars 3, otherwise I haven’t been back on the forum for months, but I know, that many stay informed on the forum for I don’t know what reason, so it’s not stupid and it serves something.
  7. What does that have to do with anything ? I left the game definitively since the release of the first part of SOTO, I never touched this extension (nor bought) because it was crap, and a big mess (just for its price). So yes, I played this game since 2014, and so I have the right as everyone to say what it is, whether others like it or not. So I say loud and clear, and I say again, yes, I would have done better. Just for principle.
  8. Oh ok, Unfortunately, I think we’re all just disappointed with the direction, and it’s just inevitable. There is nothing more to say on the subject, we already know what it is, personally I think it is time to invest in games that really deserve it, engage and invest in what pleases only a minority today is a waste of time and money. ArenaNet does not deserve any reward today... they wanted to play, they lost. Within ten or twenty years this license will be forgotten by the greatest number as soon as it falls (what about MMOs of several years today...).
  9. To prove to you what ? That I’m capable of having better ideas and intentions than these people ? That even fan fiction is much better written than what we have recently served over several years ? I don’t need it, the proof is already done, otherwise no one would complain, have not been where we are today and I would not have left Guild Wars 2.
  10. The point is to find out why you left or stayed, so that it might be useful to ArenaNet, in case I think of it, for a whole bunch of reasons that they don’t care: I think that it can in any case serve as advice to the new one who wishes to venture on the cold and latent waters of the game... But also serve as a demonstration/factual proof of what is happening on Guild Wars 2.
  11. Frankly, yes. But the question is not only in this, but in the will to have nothing to fix. I honestly think it’s for most of the cases: voluntary (at least from the directors), and they just don’t care about the community as long as you take out the credit card. I think that’s the real philosophy of this game.
  12. That’s all right. But by need of information like any business, it is better than the adapted silence of a few official years ago. You should remember the release of End of Dragons, and massive and abusive censorship because the comments were I quote : "too negative" ! All they did was shoot themselves in the foot all along...
  13. I’m afraid now is not the time for scepticism. The License is really dead, from the beginning of the game they never knew what to do with it, the evidence is numerous (even Heart of Throns, which was the best expansion they could offer us, was not so incredible, especially since it exists thanks to the demand of players) and the contempt is certain... I can only wish the incredible graphic designer, game designer and licensed composers to find new projects to bring their touch, which was deserved in contrast to those that the community is now struggling with their limits imposed by questionable directives.
  14. I personally see no interest in Guild Wars 3, but when they say "ArenaNet assures its players that Guild Wars 2 remains its priority" or "The team is focusing on the development of Guild Wars 2" in the current state, it can be scary. [for those who remain]. In my eyes (and even if I don’t know what their new extension will look like) coming out of the initial (and catastrophic) model anyway, it simply means to me that: nothing will change, no renewal, but a politically correct form of "it will remain as it is". For a game of this scale, I’m not sure that this is the answer that Guild Wars fans would expect (at least for those who have left since Icebrood Saga-EoD). This simply confirms that : the Guild Wars era is just over... And even if a Guild Wars 3 would be planned in decades, not sure that it would be very interesting with as a base the second missed opus. I think that have little without too much advance do not count on any future significant investment on this game. Guild Wars 2 is now a failure on a large part of the points (now that have in an overview), and that the true creatives of this company are gone : we can mourn it and let it sink... 😞
  15. Personally I have great doubts about the feasibility or interest I could bring to such a project, not only because the current state of Guild Wars 2 leaves much to be desired, but also in terms of how they have treated their community for several consecutive years with indifference. It is unimaginable to me to envision a Guild Wars 2 based on the disastrous foundations of what Guild Wars 2 has become, and yet have no idea what era it is (past before Guild Wars) or thinking of a future (Aurène Awakening?). I have a hard time imagining how they can correct the defects of the second opus. For the rest nothing says that it will necessarily be an MMO (RPG), what is certain is that with such ads they have interest to put theirs, and that it is qualitative, I would have no pity in this regard, Otherwise I would not even put a toe if the results do not suit me. I left Guild Wars 2 since the announcement of SoTo (which I followed very quickly backstage via YouTube) not regretting my departure so far. They’re going to need a lot of arguments and a lot of work if they’re going to convince the people who left. Guild Wars 2 died for me and ArenaNet lost my trust.
