  1. I pre-ordered EoD once it was announced, but at release my excitement to play GW2 disappeared after seeing the amount of stuff I have in my inventories and bank. It's something I forgot about, but I ad trouble with it in previous expansions and it only got worse. I checked the internet for a vendor trash guide or something similar but I couldn't find one. These are all items from the I found/got as reward in previous expansions and vanilla game. My bank slots expansions are maxed so I assume I should be ok, but it's hard to enjoy the game if my inventories are almost full. - Most of the items are lots and lots of trophies. - Some are items needed in quests that I completed years ago. - Then there are various incomplete diary/book pages. - Enchanted map parts, and completed maps that don't even work if i doubleclick. - (incomplete) Achievement items, such as spoons. Why doesn't a quest item (for example an item to lure certain mobs) simply disappear after completing the quest? It makes me doubt if I should throw it away or not. And an item like memories of Vlast, that enables you to listen to Vlast's final message. Is it gone if I throw it away or can I get it again (without creating a new toon and start all over)? There's so many items in my inventories and bank that I don't know what to do with it lost track how to enjoy EoD without constant inventory management.
  2. VR sounds nice but it's more like wishfull thinking, it won't happen. tbh I think this game is on life support. Show me a new expansion announcement first, then talk about how insignificant the layoff affected the future of GW2. Doomsayers get demonized, which is fine.. I won't say a word anymore... except... announce ... a new... expansion for proof.. that.... it's not dying?
  3. No, sacrifice Phlunt. Taimi plays the intel expert role like we see in NCIS, Criminal Minds and more of those series. I know GW2 is not television but I think these kind of character roles work very well even in GW2.
  4. Fun. I can play this game without having a goal and still have plenty to do. I recently bought the World Boss device, it alerts (and teleports me for free) me for incoming vanilla boss events. For me the game only gets better. It can be great to not have a goal at all and see where you get. There's so many must-do's irl already :)
  5. Suggestion: Easier to obtain a low (blue/green) tier celestial (+x to all stat) gear version for discovering a profession's specializations.Dear ArenaNet.I love the freedom we get to play the game you want to play. I have no (more) goals in GW2, except for having a good time with others. The World Boss Portal Device was a great addition btw! But one last point is getting to know my toons better. I'd really love to have a low (green?) tier basic jack-of-all-trade gear set, where no specialization has more benefit because it has higher stats. I have no interest in dungeons/fractals/raids. The world itself has plenty of good stuff to offer. I'd like to discover my toon instead of working to gear that matches the skills first. I'd like to finetune the way I enjoy a profession the most, and that means alot of switching. imo Having gear outfit that doesn't benefit any stat/spec is a great start to find out the way you like to play. I know there's plenty of builds online. You adjust your settings to these builds because they say that it's good. But does it feel good to me? But my final request of haveing freedom in GW2 is having low tier +x to all stats gear. Let the players discover their own unique playstyle in the open world PvE area's. Right now it's too much gear switching combined with specializations. I'm happy with Celestial/Wupwup gear, but I'd be even more happy with a low tier blue version so I can get straight to learning a lvl 80 toons possibilities instead of spending weeks (Quartz Crystal creation cooldown) on getting a full celestial set. 6. My QoL idea is to make it optional to buy a mount that is offered for free (after awhile). Like the Beetle Mount. I spent, no, wasted 1,5 day now, looking, waiting.Thinking collecting the saddle would be the final step. Unfortunately there's another collecting phase. And there we go again....I'd rather see the Beetle available in store, a few months after it has been released.I'd rather pay 20 euro, which is a little more than 2 hours at work than spending maybe 20 hours (because I'm not done yet collecting) of my free time on getting a mount. The griffon already took a long time to collect, and now another mount that takes hours and hours of non-recreational gameplay. At least make it optional, please.
  7. For me Taimi is like Abby from NCIS, she brings a positive thing in the storyline. Keep her ingame. I'm tired of Braham, his negativity carries on way too long, he's a warrior. That means first act, then mourn. I like Rythlock, although his voice sounds like he's constipated ;-) A change of personalty, Braham crawling up from the downward spiral for example would be nice! IMO No need for dying NPC's in the future of GW2.
  8. I'd love to have Canach's Shield Skin in store. I've seen it before Mordremoth fight and it looks very Mucha/Jugendstill style. I love Jugendstill.http://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=4xIxvdrB&id=B16BD5579E078BD8F015845DF0B6251C44BB1C90&thid=OIP.4xIxvdrBhxpacxDOwhItcQHaMK&q=mucha&simid=608046334600612744&selectedIndex=3&ajaxhist=0 I know this is a lady, but it's about the graciousness, like a swan. Canach's shield has similar feeling. I'd love to apply it to my toons shields.
  9. I enjoy the first chapter. The final fight is a tough one, but we should be a little seasoned fighters by now after 2 expansions right? :)As far of too much of any NPC 'x' I can't decide, it's just the first chapter. I don't like Braham. Have you ever thought about a NPC becoming corrupted, like Arthas (WoW/Lich King)? Drive Braham mad in a tragic way, becoming the enemy of what he once fought for, blind, obsessed.Anyway I'm looking forward to whatever this new LS has to offer!
  10. I simply love the dynamic event system, from small events to the big ones, I appreciate them all. The freedom to join a group fight without having to join a group. There's no other MMO I play anymore (been playing WoW since release to 2014). GW2 has all I need and I hope this game keeps expanding for the next years. Just Yesterday I was walking in Queensdale, Shadow Behemoth was up so I joined the fight. There was a new GW2 player talking in chat how he was blown away by this event. Never expected this suddely would happen during his playtime in Queensdale. You're havesting a carrot node and suddenly a huge boss appears behind you :) I remember that feeling with my first world bosses. It's amazing, overwhelming. The Auric Basin chain storylines---->End boss are my absolute favourite.
  11. I'm thinking of a few famous people who have 'that special voice'. Calming, or storytelling, iconic. Sir David Attenborough. The wildlife documentary producer/commentatorMorgan FreemanSean Connery.I'd love to hear something of them in GW2. No conversations, that'll be waaay too expensive, I understand!More like TomTom comments: But instead of those roadmap traffic messages you get short in-game comment such as: Your inventory is fullYou need to equip gathering tools.PvP match comments? I think Sean Connery would be my favourite for this, love his accent. The sea current pushes you back (reaching end of map)A new build will be available soon. Not enough space to mount.A new member joined the guild. A member left the guild. A Member is promoted to...Many other things that don't need to be updated anymore once they're recorded.I think you get the idea with these examples, there must be more of those comments, to create a package that can be used for future expansions as well without needing to be updated, when it's done, it's done. Separately sold voice-packages in gem store. Maybe this will be about reading an A4 paper of text for the famous person? That'll take less than half an hour to get it right (I think?) Would those be affordale/profitable packages for ArenaNet to get in store? How do other players think about this? There are famous people who have iconic voices. Let's make them immortal in Guild Wars 2 :) Grampybone
  12. Yes it's all good. The game is F2P. Gathering mats, daily crafts won't cost your subscription. It's as simple as that. But I agree I'd love to have my items I want so badly asap. But be honest are you satisfied when you have it? Or just want a little more?I think this game is more about having fun (together) than getting the stufff you want. Having fun is priceless, getting what you want and wanting more is unsatiable.
  13. Imo keep improving GW2. I like what they're doing. Don't move a part of the dev team to GW3. It'll be like butter that is spread too thin on a sandiwch., none of involed parties will profit. Only loss. GW2 is awesome.
  14. I agree with Ayumi Spender.1082 quote: Then again my version of boycott is, "Will give money if I see something I like."I won't boycott, if it's something I want, I'll buy it. My focus is on account bound skins/wardrobe, expansion of bank/deposit. Anything beyond that is too temporary, or doesn't improve my account in general and I'll have to think about it. Bought some mount skins, but no one forced me. But of course it's very tempting, I agree :) But once you have that skin you wished for, it's like 2 days of satisfaction. And then you'll be looking for another temptation. It's up to you to say no at some point. Untill then think twice before you buy, or sleep a night or two and reconsider.
