  1. Toss up between W1Z1's exploration with bombing walls/simplicity and W1Z3's platforming. I feel like my least favorite was W2Z2 and W2Z3 because I think the difficulty spike with those, especially in Tribulation Mode is too much. I feel like that level of difficulty should have been saved for later during perhaps a W3 or W4 level. Super Adventure Box o' Fun, Mystic Coins, Obsidian Shards or general crafting components to help craft Legendary or Ascended Weapons/Armor. I really want the new Worlds first and foremost, but I would also like an Endless Super Adventure Tonic, Super Mount Skins (Perhaps a pack) and for the Baubles and Bauble Bubbles to be put into the wallet or have some sort of pouch that contains them all in a single slot like a Bauble Bag or a Bauble Bubble Bag. Oh, and last but not least, I want you guys to finish the Super Adventure Gathering Tools! Right now there's just the Logging Bear so the set is incomplete. Really bugs me.
  2. Hey are you guys at Arenanet taking questions? Because I have one. How do you justify charging us money/"Gems" for a feature that should have shipped with the game 7 years ago and was free in the first game? Not only was the 7 year wait a travesty, but you guys decided to make one of the worst business decisions I have ever seen by also charging us for it. MassivelyOP put out a negative article about it that outlines the serious problems but no words in that article can really drive it home to express this overwhelmingly negative feeling as someone like me who has played your games since 2006 and has seen firsthand your company slowly become more and more greedy each year. I understand you guys are a company and need to make money, but charging for every little thing outside of Living World releases is absolutely ridiculous.
  3. Used to play this game daily for a couple of hours. Since I'd say February or so this year my game play has consisted of 'Log In > Get Daily Reward Log In Bonus > Log Out' and go play another game. The amount of updates we get that features actual playable content is among the slowest I have ever seen in a game coupled with them making the decision to literally monetize every little thing outside of Living World Updates is what's driving me away. Not to mention with yesterdays update, they think it's justified to make us wait 7 years for Build Templates that should have shipped with the game's release, not listen to the community feedback AND charge us money for it? Yeah, no. They are definitely not the same company I invested my hard earned money and time into that created the first game.
  4. I like the first game's Build Templates a lot. This poll is obviously about Guild Wars 2's Build Templates, so I gotta give it a hard dislike as I think it demonstrates what happens when you have something good and decide to throw it all in the trash.
  5. Alright, so I've discovered how to severely decrease the time it flashes your desktop before popping back into the game. Open up your Notification Menu located on your task bar on the bottom right side.Press the All Settings button.Select SystemSelect Focus Assist on the left hand tabTurn off the 'When I'm playing a game' optionThis should decrease the minimize time from about 5 seconds to around 1 second. To take this a step further, another thing that will help, especially if you're running on an older PC. Repeat Previous Steps 1 & 2, then do the following: In the All Settings menu select Gaming.Turn off Game Bar.It appears that Focus Assist and the Game Bar are the primary culprits behind this whole thing. As far as why it still minimizes for a second... That appears to be a fix on Arenanet's end as it seems like a compatibility issue.
  6. It's more than just a "don't buy it" scenario. It's the principal of the decision to follow through with it and actively knowing that it's a dirty move. You can stand by and halfway defend them all you want, but at the end of the day. It was and is a bad move on their part. In terms of what's going on in the media these days as an example, it's like if a movie is put out by a company that has a cameo from a celebrity who is a sexual predator. Are you going to keep watching movies from that company with the knowledge that they allowed the guy to be in it and knowing that he is a sexual predator? Come on man. People have to stand up for tom-foolery.
  7. Here's my honest opinion from playing games with this company for over 10 years. I think this is dirty as 'kitten'. Most of these mount "skins" should have been given to players as means through the actual Path of Fire expansion. Selling a skin that gives what? 2 new spikes on a Raptor for $5 is the most kittened up thing I have EVER seen in a game. What the hell are Trade Contracts for then? Why am I saving them up??? I would legitimately like to talk Mike O'Brien about this whole fiasco to see what HE thinks of this because this whole topic goes deeper than just who is playing GW2 right now. He wants us to get more people into this game, use word of mouth and make this game great right? He made the post on Reddit a while back. Then why is Arenanet making incompetent decisions like this that make it harder to recommend that people play this game? You guys are doing exactly what nobody likes or wants with adding more loot boxes that are RNG based with only money in mind. Nobody has EVER said "Wow, I wish this game had more loot boxes.". I'm definitely going to tell my friends that they should play this game and when they get into it and ask about mount skin prices for all of the new ones that it's RNG based and will cost them minimum $100 to get them all. They would quit this immediately. You guys should definitely be taking a hard look at whoever is in charge of your marketing decisions and gave the 'Okay' for this to ship because they might not be the best person to be in charge of this kind of thing and if you are that person and you're reading this message. Fuck you.
