  1. The mystic forge recipe that used to make Slumbering Conflux now directly makes Conflux. The recipe to turn Slumbering Conflux (which you can no longer make) into Conflux is also still valid.
  2. As they said before this release, the two Slumbering trinkets cannot be added to the armory. You have two options: Wait for them to add a vendor that will allow you to upgrade the slumbering trinket (this will happen "in a future release", but no date has been provided) Upgrade it yourself using the existing recipe Conflux is no longer unique, so there's no issue with upgrading that and equipping two Confluxes. If you don't have the required materials for either item, you'll just need to wait for the vendor in some future release.
  3. This isn't an "already in use" issue, but the first name I tried to use at launch was rejected as violating the terms of service. The name I wanted was "Nianalind", and I ended up having to go with Nianylind" instead. The specifics of the issue with the first name will be left as an exercise for the reader.
  4. Instead of messing around with running GW2 on Linux (and the potential weirdness that entails), why not just install dual boot Windows on the Mac using Boot Camp Assistant? It looks pretty simply based on Apple's support doc on it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468
  5. I just changed maps (from TD to DS) after Gerent, and my build template was completely reset: no legends, no utility skills, no specializations selected. Apparently this is an old bug, supposedly fixed?
  6. I would add that dungeons are dead in the sense that not only are they not being developed or improved, for the most part nobody really plays them much (though you can still find groups if you really want to see them). Raid may be dead in the "they're not currently creating any new ones" sense, they're still very much alive within the community and would be worth getting into if that's your thing. They also still give very good rewards (which is probably at least part of the reason they're still active). Fractals are the replacement for dungeons, are very active, and are definitely worth doing. If you want to look into what classes/builds are in the current meta, I'd suggest looking at snowcrows for raids, discretize for fractals, and metabattle for anything else.
  7. Please not this. The fact that there are distinct keys to move in the z axis separate from where the camera is pointing makes managing this mount in a 3D medium more akin to the Skyscale (ie, easy to use) than underwater combat, which is far less pleasant to manage because you need to use the camera to partly control swimming direction. I love the idea of having a surge move, but it should be in addition to being able to distinctly move up and down as well.
