Taking a break right now and playing a lot of SWTOR. Been roughly a month since I've been in GW2. After playing pretty much constantly since GW1 released in 2005 I've finally hit a point that it doesn't hold much for me anymore. Two hours of new content every couple of months just doesn't cut it and I've got nothing left to do.

If you have the Garden Plots in your home instance you can make Metabolic Primers. They're not the 12 hour ones, they last 2 hours, but they're basically free. There are certain plants you grow in your garden and a recipe for the primers. You can make the utility primers too.

Thank you to yourself and all others writing in the thread. A number of people have suggested Power Reaper as a very strong option. As mentioned above I am not opposed to Necro (and elites) generally but simply don't care for the look of the minions. Does your build rely on minions? Do you or anyone else know of a no-minion Reaper build (we have a Scourge above) that can easily handle open world and story without breaking a sweat? Or do all strong open world Reaper builds rely on the minions? I don't use minions at all. Mainly signets for speed, power, and a condition field.

My main is a GS Power Reaper. I've soloed core and both expansions and haven't run into much that's given me any problems. As others have stated here, pair it up with a staff for when you need to back off for a quick break. I run Marauder and a few Soldier for the extra vitality and toughness. She's my absolute "go to" for story and open world.

I was wondering about this too. It's been there all day so it would be cool if it's permanent and they pop up at other home instance entrances.

Every other crafting discipline has all the things you can make broken down into categories except scribe. As the primary decorator for several guilds its a real pain to scroll thru a seemingly endless and growing list of decorations looking for particular items. I know there is a search bar but sometimes I'm just browsing or don't know what I'm looking for exactly. Breaking the list up into plants or statues or Wintersday decorations or whatever seems like it would be a really simple QOL change to make.
