Gaming laptops have come a very long way over the last 5 years, I currently own 2; and with the price gouging of video cards right now prebuilt systems are becoming a more reasonable choice - now that's out of the way: A lot of people have had this discussion multiple times and the conclusion is always the same; Gw2 simply isn't up to par with modern gaming in terms of performance. You can say good bye to your frame rate once other people start piling in. It doesn't matter if you have a Ryzen 9 series, or an I7 10700k. It's not an issue YOU can fix personally outside of running a dx12 addon to help smooth the frame rate. Lowering the character model limit will ease this burden, but not eliminate it.

Hi man. I have same issue today.The most funny thing... Actually i installed gw2 on new hardware, everything fine then... boom! cant log in, im sure its not router problem or firewall. I have gw2 on laptop too, with the same OS, same firewall... and its sound "funny" but on my laptop i have no log in problems. Im confused.I welcome any help btw. It's possible it's related to the version of Lutris that is being used. I had that issue since the 15th, and I found a solution for myself today - just switch the Lutris version from V6.0 to V5.7-11. You can do this by Right clicking on Gw2 ---> Configure ---> Runner Options ---> Wine Version.I don't know why it fixed my problem, but it did. I ran 2 fresh installations, both under V6.0. The moment I rolled back to 5.7, I could log in.

Yes I am! ~ Open Lutris ---> right click GW2 ---> Configure ---> Runner options. Check to see what version you are using. I was on Lutris v6.0 and it kept blocking my login attempts. Switching back to V5.7-11 fixed any issues I was having. It may not be your solution, but for someone else it might be.

It started happening to me last night as well - same error message.

Horrible spot how? What's wrong with their sustain, and in comparison to what other class? I watch warriors mop the floor with people all of the time in PvP.
