From the wiki: What would be nice is a way to tell that when buying the recipe. For most things, it does not matter if you buy and use on a character without that crafting. For things like this, it does.

I noticed this as well when salvaging a couple hundred rares. RNG may be RNG, but trends are trends and it isn't like we are rolling a physical die and relying on random chance. We are relying on code to emulate randomness and code can go wrong. If it is a trend lots of players notice, it may be worth a look.

It could be any number of things (just look at the "story disconnects" thread that goes back a decade), but for some people the idle disconnect seems very aggressive. In a move somewhere between urban legend and superstition we have a few people in our group who stay in constant motion to avoid losing connection. I wish we had some kind of troubleshooting tool that could collect connection data for ANet to see if anything can finally be learned about the how and why of these drops.

That last option is what I was thinking as a way to have both, but to be useful it might need to be that you can choose which version is on the main bar and swap back and forth (like how you can swap between whip and boomerang). A cost reduction is not a bad idea, either.

If you think having a guide will help, when I'm around I can offer some assistance with just about anything except Tribulation Mode.

Isn't there a time trial version? I believe it is collecting coins instead of hitting clouds, but I thought the path was the same.

It is tough. Some years I'm able to get it by doing the bee dog transform before the race, then flying the whole thing. Can still be close, but it might shave couple seconds on the path here and there. Thankfully, this year there is another annual in the list so you can skip the race and tribulation mode and still get the reward.

When you buy the Medium Health Bottle, it permanenetly locks you out from buying the smaller health. 5x the cost for one extra heart is not good for me and I wish I could just go back to buying the 1-heart refills for 5 baubles. I know it is unlikely to change, but hey, the mega bombs got an update, so maybe there is a better way to do the health bottles, too? 🙂

W3 giving no credit for Extracurricular Activities, either. Not sure if that is across the board or just sometimes.

I have not had that happen, but I have had the throw not work when I've accidentally targeted something else (either the nexclace or one of the small frogs on the sides).

This has been an ongoing issue from the start. Would be nice if they could squash this bug or give us an update on what is happening.

Last year I was under the impression you could not even enter W3 without talking to Moto first.

I can't swear it happened this way for EoD hearts, but I am certain I have started a heart one day and completed it the next without losing progress in PoF. I'll have to test that again to see if it still happens or if it resets now.

Do you have any filters in use that might be hiding it from the list? Also, from the wiki it looks like Jewelcrafter 400 can *use* steel ingots, but it is not on the list for crafting them.

I just hope when we finally do get back to our team they (justifiably) rip into us for how stupid we've been to freeze them out over the course of this expansion. 😛
