i hope they add better relics in the future b/c the base ones are all...how shall i say...super underwhelming? meh.

tried to do yesterday's daily and could not b/c the mini dungeon has been broken for years: i spent several hours hopping instances trying but no dice. at least in the old system, i could pick some thing else to complete the daily if one of them is broken but not any more. 😞

hmm, after further play, it's not so bad. lots more reward choices is nice. 😄

i agree with many others, GW2 has the best implementation of mounts in any game i have ever played.

"Spectacular Sphere: This trait now also increases the radius of Deploy Jade Sphere from 240 to 360 in all game modes. In PvE only, it causes Deploy Jade Sphere in air attunement to additionally provide quickness and reduces all outgoing damage dealt by 10%" stuff like this is why. what other profession gets a -10% reduced damage for choosing a trait? only catalyst, apparently? a change like this doesn't make much sense to me at all. but i digress, as an ele main since vanilla beta, i kind of expect to be nerfed every patch now. 😞

hot: gliding changed how i approached and played the game. pof: mounts changed how i approached and played the game. eod: hasn't changed a thing. all these features like skiff, fishing, turtle, and jade bot could be removed and it wouldn't matter to me one bit. now take away gliding or mounts? heck no! i really hope the next expansion brings innovation like the first two did b/c this one sure didn't. 😞

first mmo i played hardcore was Mankind. it was like starcraft but on a massive scale. other than maybe eve, it is the largest game world i have seen to date even still. i also played pre-CU swg heavily, both live and the emu. it's my most played mmo and #1 on my favorite list. i pray one day for someone to take up the mantle and make another game that unique but with a shiny new modern engine. to bad soe ruined it with NGE, what a disaster. sigh.

well, at least GW2 armor designs are a 1000x better than say...new worlds cosmetics. man are they ugly.

i wish i could hide all armor pieces rather than a few. then again, at least half the player base would run around in their underwear (i know i would) so that will never happen. lol.

while the buffs were nice, the rotation for this elite is still insanely hard. i mean why couldn't there be a 1/5 skill floor build for ele instead of another 4/5 like catalyst. heck, i find playing condi weaver way easier and that's saying something imo.

some say mesmer is bad but then i play my infinite horizon staff or axe/torch-pistol mirage and even after the nerf to torment runes, i still can solo pretty much anything in open world that i wouldn't even dare attempt on my ele. so i really don't get why people say mesmer is so terrible, to me, it's not. hah.

being able to do 8k dps on a trailblazer heal build feels just a little bit strange. but idk. lol.
