Underwater content is trully dead and abandoned until further notice, not even common skin sets are receiving underwater variants anymore, even Gen 2 Legendaries did not have underwater variants. People are asking them to do complex grinds and collections just because it's a legendary, why, it's dead content anyway, they should just give it for free, or make a very easy collection a la Legendary Amulet and be done with it. We already have those underwater treasure chests, they could use these, maybe you buy a special key from "Underwater Girl" in LA using Swin Infusions, and when you open an underwater chest with one of those keys you get an "Underwater Mote" or something with a better name, you trade X amount of "Underwater Mote" and a few other materials with "Underwater Girl" in LA and you unlock a Legendary Breather, that's it, super simple, doesn't even need a new skin, just use that cool bubble from the Ascended version and be done with it, most of us just want the functionality. An intern could do this in a few weeks probably, perhaps, maybe, somehow, who knows!
  2. Yeah, according to the post, only in the next expansion you will need to own it and unlock the Relics to use them on your Legendary.

Yeah, Exotic Aquatic Headgear is terrible to get, the only craftable non Ascended breather is a lvl 20 one lol (and it's Masterwork), then it jumps straigth to Ascended, which is a bit expensive if you wanna gear a bunch of characters, you also have the PvE ones you can get from farming Underwater Chests and some Living World maps (also Ascended), but those are not an option for people that don't like PvE. Lvl 80 Exotic Breathers are only available on Winstersday for some reason, either from the event itself (PvE activities), or from the Reward Tracks, with how fast you can complete Reward Tracks now, maybe it won't be so bad to farm them when Winstersday come, but i still want more options to acquire them, or just give us the Legendary one already xD.

I believe this is going to be a bit similar to Prismaticite in IBS, remember when that came out and people freaked out because it would take months and a lot of gold just to get all those weapon skins? Then as new updates came out, Anet improved the Dragon Slayer masteries, and getting Prismaticite is easy as heck. The new updates will give high tier rifts, but maybe they will also give new tiers to the Rift mastery and all Rifts will give more essences, of course it won't be as easy as Prismaticite, since we're talking about Legendary Armor versus some Exotic and Ascended weapons, but from what i have seen, this armor is the grindiest in the game, even more than WvW since it takes only 5 months for a full set now, so i believe it should sit between Raid and WvW armor time wise (yeah i still think Raid armor should be the fastest since it requires more effort to get).

I would like it to be like Aika online, in there the main structure would generate gold over time, and if your team captured it from an enemy, everyone that participated would get a share, they could do the same here. Every team would have a "Main Keep" on their Borderland, and they would be very hard to capture, Main Keep is always at Tier 3, at the same time way stronger than it is now, and you still need to capture it the "old fashioned way", going there and sieging it. Main keep accumulates gold and other drops as time went on (maybe each Skirmish), and at the end of the week (5 or more hours before reset), the Keep Vault will open and players can enter it and loot lot's of chests with items, gold, etc, at this point the enemy team can't try to capture it anymore, walls are unbreakable and there's Legendary Defenders, until reset happens and all goes back to normal again. But, at any time during the week, the enemy team can try and atack the main keep to steal it's riches for themselves, it's the same as it is now, break outer, break inner, kill super strong lord, but you don't capture the keep anymore, after filling the bar, the Keep's Vault will open for 5 minutes, and atackers can loot it (atacking team will be safe inside the Keep/Vault while the timer is running), same deal, lot's of chests with items, some gold, etc, depending on how much the enemy team accumulated, after this timer end's, the Vault will close, and atacking team will need to leave, because Legendary Defenders will spawn and defend the keep until next Skirmish (after which they get demoted to normal guards again), this is mostly to prevent people from trolling, camping, porting inside, etc. The alternative is the same as above, but you can still capture enemy Main Keeps, and they generate rewards just like yours, but the Vault only open at the end of the week, so the server with multiple Main Keeps would have to try and hold them for the entire week to double/triple the rewards, that would be super hard, maybe impossible to some, but the payoff at the end would be more than worth it. Main problem with this is that matchups would need to become 1x1, or 2x2, because as it is now, it would be super easy for the two stronger teams to wait till the end of the week and just gang up on the weak team for some easy double rewards. Perhaps Score could have a say in how much rewards you accumulate, or gives some bonuses, as this could incentivize the weaker teams to try and gang-up on the stronger instead. Another problem is coverage, since servers, guilds, teams, etc have different timezones, this could lead to some problems, but that's why when i say Main Keeps would be super hard to capture i mean it, even a few defenders would give a lot of trouble to a full squad, all guards will be Elite, there will be more Champions, more siege, busted defensive tatics, etc. Phew, what a wall of text lol.

The weekly chests are also giving 10 Tickets instead of 5, 90 extra per week (total of 455 Tickets per week now), that's huge if crafting Legendary stuff, can get armor in 5 months now, trinkets and backpack in even less time, not to mention the extra few you get from capturing and defending T3 stuff.

The absolute best, and less time-consuming way is trashing ascended armor and weapons, but it's best if you already have full legendaries (unless you're fine with Exotics if you don't have leggies), and do some end game content like Fractals/Raids/Strikes to get the chests, then you stat swap these pieces so they count as a crafted item, and there you go. You can get 100-500 Notes per any Ascended Piece, and ascended coats and weapons will almost always give 500 Notes, i trashed 6 random pieces a few days ago (for trading at the Docks), and got around 1500-2000 Notes, just like that.

  9. Classic "power of being in the Zerg", other DPS classes can do the same, or even more damage. I'm playing the Rifle build, and if i'm on my own, it's mostly 5k damage per F1 on tanky people/boon blobs, it's awesome for killing tails, and if you have a group with a support giving you boons it slaps in small fights, but like i said, Dragonhunter, Reaper and Revenant are just as good, if not better, in big fights. Melee Warrior damage is ok, it's melee, it's risky, and you have to commit to being full Zerker to do that kind of damage, build deserve that damage in my opinion, and Reaper is still stronger i think. Ranged Warrior relies too much in unblockable to be effective, what with everyone being a "mobile reflect bubble" nowadays.
  10. If Dragon Slash had the same scaling as in PvE, Celestial wouldn't be a problem!!!

It get's interrupted, i believe it's slopes or bumbs in terrain, it happens quite a bit when i'm going up or down stairs in a Keep/Tower, i try to use Battle Maul to atack the NPC's and dismount, it goes instantly on cooldown for some reason, but the atack does not happen, nor i get dismounted, so i have to use the dismount button instead, or wait 5 seconds lol.

Don't see a reason the xpack wouldn't have them, Ranger pets were never exclusive nor tied to Elite Specs in the past, so it's "easy" to add a few new pets in the open world for Rangers to colect, only Soulbeast and Untamed would need a bit more work, since they do have a specific mechanic tied to what pet you are using.

Actually it should be given to everyone with 6/6 runes, and everyone with 7/7 also receives the relic and something extra, remember, it's not only the people with 7 runes that are losing functionality. And to be fair, the seventh rune is basically that, an extra, especialy with underwater content being abandoned now, it's why a lot of people only craft 6/6 and never get the seventh, or leave it as the very last thing, together with the 4 underwater sigils. But we have to see what that compensation is going to be, i hope it at least reduce the vast majority of the potential material and gold grind/collections.

Legendary only in next year then, well ,at least i can keep focusing on my Legendary Armor (Light Pauldron, and entire Medium Set), i was going to go for the weapons after getting all armor, but that will have to wait a bit more (since i was going to buy the weapons with gold instead of crafting). But overall, i like the changes, six gods, i hope we get a "Relic of the Dragonhunter", and it decreases cooldown of the traps to 5 seconds, and they all daze the targets, and summon a pack of pocket raptors when activated.
  15. I wonder if this system will touch more than Runes, imagine if certain Sigils become Relics too, Stacking sigils come to mind, if they become Relics it solve both problems i have with them, having to camp one specific weapon to build all your stacks (especially bad in WvW), and losing all stacks the moment you go underwater without having a copy of the sigil in your underwater weapons, would be cool if done properly.
