The GoB is a reward for everyone who wants to craft a legendary weapon. It is not aimed primarily at players of a different game mode. WvW players craft legendary weapons as well. How do you know most of PvE players “heavily dislike” WvW? You have a source for that? The GW2 community is not as black and white as you want to portray it here. There are a lot of PvE players who have absolutely no problem playing a little bit of WvW now and then to get the GoB. So no there is no problem and there is no reason to change anything.

They changed how one new legendary is working. That’s it. All the rest is just in your head. It’s actually a good change and really not a big deal. Obsidian armor works just like every other legendary in the game, it has the same QoL features. It is by no means legendary in name only and the legendary functionality is not heavily reduced.

No thanks. SAB is the only festival I really don’t like and the only festival I skip entirely every year. They shouldn’t waste resources on it.

It can already easily be copied simply by looking at the character. The game does not have that many skins. WoW for example has way more skins.

If someone asks me what skins my character uses then the only way to show it right now is to link the items in chat …

Who is “we”? please speak for yourself. No one is taking the effort away from you. And why do you care so much what others are doing?

You don’t feel safe if other players in a video game can see what your characters are wearing? This is just laughable.

And then I have to link everything my characters are wearing in the chat, maybe I am just whispering with someone else or I am writing in guild chat. And often I am being asked with a simple “link pls”. It’s just easier for both to just click to see the skins.

Nowhere in that post do I write that people don’t want to interact.

That’s nonsense. They can still tell you that they like your looks, happens often to me. But now I have to waste my time and link everything in chat. It’s easier for me and for them to just click and see what my characters are wearing.

But why not? Isn’t it a compliment that other people want to recreate your looks? I would actually be happy seeing people using my looks.
