  1. The longer they delay the more than can just say it would be too hard to bring them back in. Which is probably the goal right now, honestly.
  2. Why the hell is it always "kill the character" that players come up with as a solution? Why is it "hey, lets mame them horribly! That will show them." Quiet frankly, ever thing needed to put the character on ice (of some format) was already given to us in the very beginning of learning of her character. I'd rather Funt (yes, spelled that way on purpose) rather pull her away from all of that, and force her into college. It would be his right to do so as much as she'd resent him for it. But would keep her safe and out of the way. Granted, at the same time, he wouldn't be able to take credit for anything new and exciting persay. So double edged papyrus. I realize that players have come not to trust ANET with story writing, but come on... shesh.
  3. Problem. Cats will for the most part go and use the litter box.Dogs will... for the most part go wherever when you look at the designs of the home instances. Frankly, I dont' want to step in "dog bombs".
  4. The symptoms you describe could be indicative of hardware failure. They also remind me a lot of graphic driver crashing and being unable to recover. You could download latest drivers, reboot into a safe mode, uninstall the drivers, reboot, and install drivers to see if that could help. I would also check your system event logs to see if they can give you any clue of what errors could be happening. I haven't seen this mentioned yet. Also I agree with the previous people that just because other stuff works and only GW2 doesn't is not proof that it is a GW2 fault. Every program uses hardware in its own manner.I would also isolate the odd fan noise you were hearing, and try to get that fixed.

  6. You can get one free one every day if you so choose.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ley-Energy_Matter_Converter
  7. I'm not making any case for or against. I mentioned it solely as a possible issue given the behavior that FCC has shown in the past.
  8. One of my ex's wore her underware out to the beach. Why? looked better and it was more covering than bikinis. Just looking, you'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference. So... who is being ridiculous? The caster going into fights without protection, or my ex because she was actually more clothed? Funny thing about cultural prospectives, they can shape and cloud all sorts of judgements in manners that are odd to others.
  9. TL;DR : While it would be great to have, to avoid legal issues and fan controversy, technical issues have to be resolved first, as of such, no manger has wanted to champion/allow for this desire to happen. Probably because no manager or designer wants to deal with "backlash" from players concerning Charr and Asura. http://massivelyop.com/2016/06/15/guild-wars-2-is-giving-female-charr-and-asura-precursor-breast-armor/ Also, a new model would have to be created for them, let alone the "naked" model for the others would have to be update to have dyable channels. When it comes right down to it, no manager has wanted to champion suits that players have wanted for a long time. Let alone they'd have to do something such that a player couldn't dye the "underware" a flesh tone to appear naked. That can/will get Anet into trouble with the FCC.And while I hope that Asura would not, doing such with the smaller race could get Anet into trouble again with the FCC. Back when Turbine was under control of Dungeons and Dragon's online, they had to remove an NPC called Scarlet the Harlot; a halfling, not a human, prostitute. FCC claimed it was to similar to child prostitution even though it was a fantasy setting and halflings were a race.
  10. From an outsider perspective, not really. I can recall how much complaining I'd hear popping into WvW on occasion because the WvW people would complain about PvE people coming into their area screwing things up.Having participation as a marker will only keep the status quo, instead of encouraging non WvW people to give it a good solid shot to see if they'd like it. To me... WvW is just about legendary stuff. shrugs The way the change reads, it won't really effect me.
  11. December 1st, this was the last offical Anet posting I can remember.https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/294590#Comment_294590 And yeap... saw it addressed alright. With even more "lets blind the players!" antagonistic attitude towards players via visual effects.
  12. AVG used to do that to me, so maybe it is your antivirus doing it to you.
  13. Keep players happy and engaged so they are willing to stick around. The latest directions as shown by HoT and PoF is that ANET has said they are done with casuals and are going to instead make the game power player friendly (this is not the same level of hardcore.) My opinion: this has caused a faster bleeding of players than what is expected. Granted with expansion sales, profits will keep them around, but how much longer... hard to say. To me, that is the goal of what should be done. How to do it... there are many paths. looks at how much he spent to make Kudzu... looks at how much he has to spend to make Shining Blade Yeah... I'll just say I disagree with you. A LOT.
  14. "Me take! you give!" - Wintersday skritt.... and many forumites it seems. Me... I think I'd have less issue with the cost if it actually came on an ascended shoulderpad. As it is, it is just a skin. Skins on the TP have a wide range of values, and presences isn't a req for another piece. So my mind just puts it down to somewhere in the 400-600 gp range. shrugs Is what it is.
