People will always complain about every ranger pet that is being used until they remove all damage and utility from every single one of them. The reasons vary over the years, and usually not even the nerfs satisfy them. The low level players will also refuse to take advice, and while "high level" players will know exactly how to counter and/or outplay a ranger and their pet, they'll still complain, because that's convenient for them.

Worst case scenario I could think of as a reason for this is the g2 having a 1366 x 768 panel, while the g3 the 4k option.

Long time ranger player here, I'll leave some feedback on the things I disagree with, considering that this can only touch numbers.

They probably forgot ranger exists, and someone reminded them we had revive and fall damage traits.

I am against adding passive power creep. Lb is a very powerfull weapon since the buff to barrage.

It's affected by the cd reduction but it's not triggering the seed.

Imo it's a good design to have elites with high impact and high cd, it's exactly why unity used to suck. Stars can completely negate a condi bomb on 10 allies and the channel time is balanced on the fact it has 1200 range and allows you to move while channeling it.

At first I liked Stars. Then I started to think where it could be useful and honestly I don't think it's designed for anything in pve, but I like the idea of using it in wvw. It compliments other support options there while providing something unique. It's also bugged atm, it's not triggering Verdant Etching on me.
