  1. Please don't! My eyes are harmed enough already. No more shining players around, please. PS: I'm not joking, there are some people with eyes problems and the over light in gw2
  2. you dont have dodge enough to run all the way back to the chests. At higher tiers you also have to jump walls.
  3. The first goal of Swampland - recover the wisps - having the Outflanked instability (300% damage from behind). You take the wisps and start running... two hits and you are dead. How to deal with this?
  4. Great. That's the group goal: learn. We decided to instead of blindly follow meta just try and learn until we could by our efforts understand what meta is about.
  5. I usually play as a Tempest with good DPS but I've seen already how a Weaver can (really) be more aggressive. My problem is that I can't stay alive standing at any boss foot expecting to survive hits that take 50/60% of my HP. I'm steel playing around T2 so the question is: it depends all on me to stay alive, group doesn't matter? OR a berserker Weaver depends on others boon/protection/heal to stay there? Ps: if your answe is the second one, I would love some good and practical advices on how doing that. Something more than "just dodge and know mechanics"
  6. For my group I am talking about five non-experienced players who started from fractal level 1 going up knowing only about base mechanics read/saw in guides. T1 was easy, T2 started (at some insta+bosses combo above lvl 35) showing no mercy. Then my question is: Moving from a Tempest to a Firebrand Healer will help this group breath and learn what is happening around or will it only blind us about our flaws? Ps: group has a renegade, warrior banner, dragonhunter, reaper and me (tempest for now). Besides of myself, I don't intend to force others change their classes/specs.
  7. Before allowing players to dye minions and miniature I would prefer an option to just not see them. Maps/events with more than two master minion necro and all you can see is those things.
  8. Yay! Another meta-thing telling me how I should play the game to have maximum speed and reward, right? Who in the world wants to have fun in a game?!
  9. I had 70% of site done to show you exactly that: The story and choices from your account or for a ton specifically. A download "book" was also an option. Put the idea on the lore section of this forum and got two answers saying "yeah, cool" and other saying it was useless. Of couse that cut my enthusiasm. It seems only a small group of community cares about it. (or at least a small group from forum)
  10. 1.8k hours playing and just now I did my first Asura. I am loving. I am considering delete all may alts to have my own Asura army. Not at once, of course, but still, even losing birthday gifts and open maps + professions. I love their animation, I love that feeling about they being faster (even knowing is not really) and I love how arrogant/ironic/sarcastic they are (funniest personal story so far). And since they don't follow the common human-link format, any skin works great on them.
  11. Not a skin. It is one of options. I got a dye. A friend got a mini. Another a Mail Carrier.
  12. And if you keep following links you will find the drop table rate collected from players.... And the answer is not surprising: average is not good.
