  1. That's a load of bs really. It's a rather one-sided approach. I could've argued the same if defenses were buffed and the attackers were complaining. Yeah barely and I bet they aren't safe if the boonballers hate them aswell.
  2. Huh? They made multiple games before GW2? I'm only aware of one, GW1 that is. Which other ones are there then? I'm genuinely not aware of any others Anet made.
  3. I would like a mh dagger for Guardian focusing on strike/power damage.
  4. lol, this is so pathetic. This is to help the unkillable boonballs so they can ignore tactics and just boonball around the map. Look at all the nerfs like in the last year or so. Defenders took one nerf after the other. But this wasn't necessary before. So what has changed I wonder? The players perhaps?
  5. lol recent WvW changes: A lot fewer supplies in objectives Made Rams incredibly hard to kill Nerfed defensive siege pretty much into the ground Nerfed the main defensive trick Nerfed a defensive tactivator into the ground Now you have to repair 50% of a wall to be able to get it raised again And Golems don't trigger the contested status, so there will be even less warning for defenders How dumb/lazy are attackers these days that this was all necessary? And we've probably not seen the end of it. This is just pathetic really lol
  6. Well, Fractals is not OW content, so then it wouldn't be OW legendary armor anymore, though, I'm not sure if Anet themselves ever called it OW legendary armor.
  7. Interesting, and yes, that creates a whole lot of problems for mixing and matching
  8. My first thought wasn't pre-searing either but rather the Charr Homelands regions from EotN.
  9. Ahh right, yeah I wondered why that was. I noticed it on the sanctified one as well. Weird, it's not like they don't have shorter medium chest than the longcoat model. For the sanctified one they could've used the sneakthief or krytan model, for example. I mean let's be honest, the shorts underneath that one are so basic and thin that you can't really use it unless it's covered. 🤷‍♂️
  10. Just curious; what do you mean by "medium classes receive a different treatment..."?
  11. Eh well venom isn't exactly the same as poison, but it is a real thing just like poison... but venom is included in the gift of magic. It's really kind of hard to talk about real and magic in the context of a fantasy game. Not to say I agree with the op, I don't, but you're trying to argue something being real in a fantasy game. I mean, thieves have stealth you say? Well, considering the fact that they can disappear while standing right in front of you without any shadow in the near vicinity makes it invisibility in my book and not stealth. So...magic. Again, I don't agree with the op but your reasoning about real vs magic, considering GW2's nomenclature, is not a great argument to use.
  12. Well it's not just about the numbers: when a boonball is involved and the other team is not well-organized, the boonball will survive double their numbers fairly easily. They can go in a keep of the opposing side and just farm until they've had their fill. If it's unorganized vs unorganized or boonball vs boonball, then the numbers will make the difference.
  13. yeah, that's also very true. Sometimes I can match it by using a different shade of a color but sometimes it just looks too different. Also applying colors to crystals can get some weird results. Especially with red colors.
  14. Yeah I just did that part for my current project (working on Astralaria now). I also finished the Binding of Ipos before this and that's when I noticed the prices of wood being really low already. But thanks for highlighting this for me just the same. I do appreciate it 🙂
  15. Not sure if this poll matches your thoughts. I doubt that a lot of people will say "my characters look like trash after they've put a lot of effort in it". And the thing is that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I see lots of characters that are way over the top and consequently I think of them as ugly. But the person themselves can be really chuffed with the result. So who am I to tell them they look like trash? It's just my opinion after all and not a rule. It's like X-mas trees. Some people like to keep it neat and color coded, others go full out and throw anything on there they can. So what if they enjoy that? But if you ask them whether they think their X-mas tree is beautiful, their most like answer is yes. But that doesn't mean that the general consensus of people around them has to be the same.
