  1. Will you also be bringing the Mount Select License for the original Mount Adoption License? That's the one I desperately want!
  2. I enjoy the rifle a lot! The ambush seems weird for being 600 range when the normal attack is 1200, but more importantly it doesn't heal the mesmer themselves and that seems like a bug? It would also be nice if the mesmer could use the 5 skill to reposition themselves, so you have the choice of letting an ally use your portal to escape, or using the portal to escape yourself :] The autoattack could also be a bit more.. magicky like mesmer sounds usually are?
  3. Please no, I've already played one MMO where they literally just removed my class from the game xD
  4. Can someone please explain what the skill will be used for if it no longer blocks? It does pretty terrible damage.. Like I can't think of a reason to press it if the change goes live. It was also very thematically strong for Virtuoso because Virtuoso has a whole line of traits centered around blocking and benefitting from blocking, and Bladeturn Requiem played perfectly into that! I don't know what the issue with the skill was, but please revert that change 😞
  5. Rework scepter to.. anything really, it's one of my most disliked weapons in the entire game, the sound effect is annoying, the orbs are dreadfully slow, and it's not very good at anything.. Personally I'd want the old effect of Amplified Wrath (burning enemies on block) back without having to use a rune for it, maybe replace Communal Defenses in Valor with it or something? As a less specific wishlist I'd want a healer specialization, maybe Honor reworked to pump out lots of healing? I just want that monk experience from GW1 again, guardian is the closest I can get to it but it's not there yet imo, maybe rework Valor into a protection monk style thing too? lots of protection, aegis for the whole group? this is from the viewpoint from a super casual open world player, it'd probably be busted strong in endgame content if they filled out a proper support role with alacrity or quickness in a core specialization and then you could stack Firebrand on top of that, so I just want the support and defensive aspects tbh :3 Also, make Shelter into a consecration pls, skills with no type bother me 😧
  6. What, what's wrong with ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG ZHWENG? xD
  7. This is really cool and I wish we could get most of these in the game, but the only things I don't like are the new virtue of Justice since the current one is literally designed to pull your prey into your traps and I find that very fun! Also procession of blades is fun so I'd like to keep that too :3
  8. One thing I noticed from more testing, Whirling Light is basically unuseable in action camera mode. It will lock onto the first target and stay there. It would be a much better skill overall if you could move freely yourself for precise positioning.
  9. I want to know why it's even called Willbender, they've got nothing of the sort, except maybe preventing any instance of damage hitting them by Reversal of Fortune. The whole spec feels so rough it feels like they were either working on a different spec entirely, or that a core part of this elite spec wasn't working and they simply cut it out and what we're left with is this hollow shell which is mysteriously called Willbender because... reasons? I think the name would be fine if there was an actual identity behind it, a strong theme. Willbender is really lacking on that front.
  10. The way the new virtues work is that when you activate them, they do nothing or very little, but you get a small buff icon for x seconds, and hitting enemies a certain amount of times will trigger the effect. Willblender flames, utility skills, weapon skills all work. Like a lot of people have said, it's great in big AOE situations, nearly useless against a solo enemy or a couple of enemies. They would be great if you activated them and kept them forever as a stance! Sadly the reality is a lot more disappointing 😞
  11. I find the new active virtues very bad to play with, especially against one or two enemies. They last such a short time, and a lot of traits that enhance virtues on the core guardian just don't work at all which I feel is unacceptable. The whole set of traits for Willbender seems random and punishing, almost slapped together. It tells a lot when a lot of people just don't pick an adept or grandmaster trait.. On top of that, a lot of the traits don't feel like they enhance a core part of the Willbender, instead something hyper specific. There are no (good) traits to just simply enhance a virtue or all virtues. There aren't major traits to significantly enhance mobility or survivability other than Holy Reckoning. Holy Reckoning is good! Where are the traits to enhance physical skills? what about offhand sword? Even the old sword trait got changed to "mainhand sword" so literally the only thing we can basically enhance for the Willbender through traits are the new virtues, which are not fun to play with and don't play nice with the rest of the guardian traitlines. Why is the spec basically exclusively power and crowd control? Why are there no traits or skills that cause burning or at least somehow improve condition damage builds? A lot of other people have already provided a lot more feedback on how to improve Willbender's functionality a lot better than anything I would've written, a lot of which I agree with. One thing that bothers me personally that I haven't seen a lot of people mention is the aesthetics! I know that by theme they're physical skills, but almost every single guardian skill short of shouts and maybe signets has more interesting graphics than almost everything Willbender has. Even the elite skill looks lackluster, Willbender is clunky and looks boring when you play it. Needs more blue light, flames, something. Also, I might be in the minority here for caring about this, but this is the second elite specialization that's basically unuseable underwater. Please make some more underwater skills 😞 Willbender has a lot of potential but it doesn't feel like an elite specialization, or even a proper specialization. It needs something more, both aesthetically and functionally.
  12. You seem to be misunderstanding, with the targeting reticle in action camera mode, there isn't a "behind". You point the reticle at something and that is your target, your front and it turns your character accordingly automatically whenever you use a skill. If you still have no idea what I'm talking about, go to keybinds and add a bind to Action Camera and turn it on. Yes it works with both skills you mentioned. I could record a video if you really want <_<
  13. You do know I'm talking about the ACTION CAMERA specifically, right? No matter what direction your character is facing, those skills like pretty much every other skill in the game make your character automatically face the target and then fire the skill. All skills from ranger, mesmer, guardian and necromancer that I have tried except guardian mantras.
  14. Why does every other skill trigger where your reticle is aiming then? Like literally all of them. including "push back all foes in front of you" which obviously refers to the direction of your character. It turns to the reticle no matter what direction your character is facing.
