  1. UPDATE! The reason this happens is because the buff is applied during the aftercast of bladesongs, which can be canceled in various ways while the skill already counts as successfully casted for all intents and purposes. Perhaps this could be fixed by tying it to a different part of the cast?
  2. You are mistaken. While it is correct that the effect stacks neither in intensity nor duration, it can still be refreshed while it's already ongoing, as these are two different mechanics, and the latter is the expected behaviour.
  3. https://youtu.be/Ci5rZaXmuqs log: https://dps.report/0BOV-20240214-223418_whisp (Vera Scornbinder, bug at roughly 50 seconds in) I notice this happening occasionally. Not consistently, but often enough to be bothered. It is unclear to me as to why this happens. EDIT: The cause of this issue is that the buff is applied during the aftercast of the bladesong, meaning that any skill with a higher priority than a bladesong (mind stab, signet of the ether, weapon swap) can easily cancel that portion of the skill while it counts as successfully casted in every other way. I cannot imagine that this is intended. Please fix?
  4. Doing the achievement "Zojja's Journal" I've gotten stuck at the final step "Return to Zojja after collecting all of the journal pages." The reason I've gotten stuck is that the Zojja NPC is not at her intended location (yes, the actual location, inside Mabon's Quarters) and I can thus not speak to her. I'm not sure how I've caused this, but my current guess is that changing to a different story chapter between starting the collection and trying to finish it has broken something.
  5. Update: Relic of the Thief seems to never trigger when a skill from a weapon hits after swapping away from that weapon, and Dragon Slash fits this description.
  6. All three Dragon Slashes are in weapon skill slots, so I imagine they would count as such, and it takes Flow to use these, so the resource cost box is ticked as well. I imagine the problem here is that TECHNICALLY it is Dragon Trigger rather than Dragon Slash that consumes the resource, but technicalities aside I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say that these skills should definitely activate the relic.
  7. When used against enemies behind yourself, Bladecall and Unstable Bladestorm will claim "no line of sight" and not turn your character around to attack the target, and the skill won't be used at all. This is inconsistent with nearly every other targeted skill (including Virtuoso's Flying Cutter and Bladesong skills), which will automatically turn a stationary character around to face the target and then fire off as expected.
  8. I would like to point out that all of the art added by Vindicator ranges between unfitting and ugly. The bright blue/orange theme is garish and doesn't look right at all among all of the other legends that have one dominant colour and many gradients and shades of it, nearly every skill icon in the kit is missing the white-grayish and red accents that are a hallmark of revenant by now, and revenant weapon skills don't have those hues of blue in them like the greatsword does. The image of the legend itself is bad too, it looks like two generic armored guys while every other legend has a very distinct and recognizable mugshot. I get that those are faction armors from GW1, but it just doesn't really work.
  9. I wanted to provide targeted criticism, but right now it feels like every area of this spec requires either polish or drastic changes. If I had to choose a worst aspect however it'd be the cumbersome legend skills that flip over on a class that's already managing two separate swap mechanics, cooldowns, and energy.
  10. The current changes miss the mark on nerfing scourge's utility to which it has uncompromised access while being built for damage. To truly follow through on this nerf, Desert Empowerment must also be nerfed.
  11. The way I see it this skill is, at the moment, one of the unwieldiest skills in the game. Its pulsing ticks align themselves with some sort of server tick rate and ignore the time at which you started casting the skill, and it's difficult to follow its tick "rhythm" especially when a lot of things are happening on screen. When does it even register that a skill with energy cost has been used, at the start of the skill or the end? I would be curious to know how many people have the answer to that. Suggestion: I think this skill would be a lot better if it did not check for the use of an energy costing skill during each pulse, and instead, one empowered tick "stack" was added each time a skill was used, and then every tick would consume one of those stacks to become an empowered tick. Of course you would lose your stacks when the elite is toggled off prematurely. I don't think that would change much about the balance of this skill while making it a lot more intuitive to use, and it wouldn't even necessarily punish players for using it the way it is currently used. Even if there were balance issues with this, I'd think that that, and then fixing them, would be a worthy trade for adding quality of life to the skill.
  12. Permanent swiftness, protection, fury, 20% CAP IGNORING boon duration, lifesteal, and some might for the whole squad is worthless? Overstatement of the century. It's not far off from the dps players that don't provide huge utility in most scenarios. It's quite similar to dps scourge. It's not for competing for world record kill times, but it makes boss kills extremely secure by providing a bunch of safety nets at a negligible cost of dps. It's also a very fun and simple build for newcomers to pick up.
  13. Or they could reduce its energy consumption, but that seems like the lame way to handle it.
  14. I'm all for making making sure condi renegade doesn't overperform, but why target Invoke Torment of all things? One of the coolest traits revenant has to offer, it changes how you think about legend swapping and can be used on a number of builds that have nothing to do with renegade, shortbow, or mace. Why neuter that before anything else?
  15. Actually, this would be bad for the economy because people buying food to grind their benchmarks keep the prices high.
