  2. This is also rather perplexing. Someone who can spend 16 hours per day on the game has the most time to spend on GW2.
  3. You know just as well as everyone else does that this sentence was written with a tone. This is not a neutral tone sentence. If you're ESL, maybe you don't realize how strongly this sentence comes across, but otherwise you know kitten well you're writing in a hostile way.
  4. Okay my opinion is that you should invest in some upgrade extractors. And also that it's really weird that someone with 87 character slots is upset about 300g. Like you've spent tens of thousands of gems on character slots dude. 300g is chump change. Like I know I'm a jerk but sometimes you see the facts laid out and you just think "how did this person not know better".

  6. Not sure what to make of these weapons but I hope when I actually get to play them they will feel sufficiently distinct from Scepter and Pistol. I kind of like that there's a small matrix going on with Power and Condi non-proj weapons, and Power and Condi proj-based weapons. I think that the sword skills being piercing and AoE focused could be enough to make them feel unique. I was thinking about Scepter/Sword and Axe/Sword mostly before the reveal. I think that'll be fun.
  7. Honestly I think that delaying the weapons for the second post-release patch was a mistake. Running around the new maps with a new weapon might actually make the experience distinct. For me, exploring the expansion zones felt very rote. The expansion was, from where I sit, basically two new zones and a new mastery track... Basically two living story episodes. I don't think I feel great about this model for expansions.
  8. On the one hand I haven't really delved into it and it seems like a lot of work. I'd rather not do the busywork. On the other hand this is just a build craft thing. It'll be a solved problem soon. It's already solved for condi reaper (aristocracy ez game). Idk I don't think I'm fussed one way or the other. I'm a bit disappointed that some effects are no longer available but c'est la vie.

  10. I was actually wondering if it was quarterly or less than that. 1000 acclaim isn't that much, I think its 15 days worth. Just days - not counting weeklies or specials. Just on the back of doing your 2 weeklies you'll get 900 acclaim (the final box itself - not even the raw weeklies!) which is almost enough to buy it on its own.

  14. What I don't understand is why we lost our stat conversion runes. They were really interesting for a few builds but now they're gone.
  15. No you misunderstand, I'm saying it's a reach for you to suggest that this thread was about dailies, in general, the concept and not specifically about the Wizard's Vault. And to be candid you seem way too wound up about a pretty straightforward suggestion. "hey can we have one more daily in case we get one that really sucks". "NO ANET IS SECRETLY MOVING THE POPULATION AROUND TO MAKE THE GAME LOOK BUSY." Yeah but what if nobody's attacking our team's objectives in WvW? :v
