  1. Actually there was some kind of change. No idea what it meant though. I only do that level if I need to, specifically because I never liked jumping across the logs and gators. So I haven't played that level much this year. From what little I have played it, I didn't notice any difference with the logs.
  2. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/arenanet-studio-update-the-future-of-guild-wars-2/ In the section for 'Full Steam Ahead': Not too far off I imagine.
  3. Asura medium T3 cultural Armor, Prototype Leggings The pants have 2 dye channels, but the bottom channel doesn't change anything. https://imgur.com/a/oo0RaXN
  4. Asura Female Mechanist CJ-1 Command Sleeves causes my nameplate to appear at my character's feet while wearing them. I've seen it on other player's Asura characters wearing the gloves. https://imgur.com/a/9qus4T2
  5. It's not a "coefficient". Guardian has a much lower base health than warrior. With base health + 1,000 vitality at level 80, guardian has around 11,645 HP while warrior has around 19,221. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Health#Mechanics Warrior and necromancer have the highest base health, while guardian, thief, and elementalist have the lowest. The rest of the professions are in the middle. Vitality adds to the max health by a fixed amount, not a percentage. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Vitality
  6. Not available yet. I believe AMD's official statement was sometime in first quarter of 2022. But, if you scroll down and look at the footnotes: https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/radeon-super-resolution it says: "As of January 2022, Radeon Super Resolution is compatible with Radeon RX 5000 series graphics and newer and works with games that support exclusive full-screen mode. AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.1.3 or newer is required." That means 3rd driver release for Jan. 2022, and we just had the second release a few days ago (22.1.2). So probably sometime in the next week or so. To echo statements, DX11 for GW2 still doesn't operate in exclusive full-screen mode, even with all the updates to it since the beta was released.
  7. Not just currency for SAB instances. They're also used as ammo for the slingshot and bombs.
  8. I was using DX11 before the patch. Due to some minor graphical issues I decided to switch back to DX9, then exit the game. When I launched it I ended up with the same issue as everybody else here. Aside from the minor graphical issues, the game was running fine with DX11, even after the patch. I've found in the past when using DX11, if I end up with some graphical issues, the game will eventually crash. Happened during Halloween event when I was just running through Lion's Arch toward a carving pumpkin. Same issue no being able to use Windows task manager to shut the game down. (The game in task manager was marked as not responding.) But, I already knew an easy trick to solve that problem. When you bring up Windows task manager, press the up/down arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight GW2, then press the delete (Del) key on the keyboard. The game will instantly shut down and you gain control of your PC again. If pressing the arrow keys doesn't do anything for task manager, press the Tab key. You should then be able to use the arrows keys to highlight the game in task manager. Edit: I did launch the game a second time and got to the character select screen. I opened the game options here and selected the best performance preset in the graphics options when the game suddenly crashed. (I was going to select best performance, then best appearance to make sure the graphics are OK, then adjust settings the way I like them.)
  9. I bought it the other day. Dang chair is a whole lot bigger in game than it looks in the preview window (my character is like, 8 feet above the ground sitting in it). I thought it was going to be kinda small, like the Night Watch Stool. Worth it, even without a green glow as "advertised". 😊
  10. Correct. That's actually the purpose of invisible bags: to make sure you don't accidentally sell items or deposit materials you want to keep in your character's inventory. Also note: if you click the compact button to sort your inventory, things in invisible bags will not move.
  11. Probably just a background lighting effect added by the artist so you can see the chair in the gem store image. Without the green you wouldn't know what it looked like unless you previewed it in the gem store or hero panel. The image in the gem store would just look like a black blob.
  12. You don't actually need to buy a physical TPM module. In your motherboard bios you have firmware TPM. For AMD it's called fTPM Switch. For Intel it's called PTT. This qualifies for Windows 11 as I have a Ryzen system with fTPM enabled, along with secure boot, and Windows update said my PC fully meets the requirements to upgrade, so I did and am using Win 11 right now. Microsoft never really mentioned it, which caused a lot of confusion, and scalpers to buy up all the TPM modules to jack up the prices, only for people to eventually realize you don't need to buy one. LOL I know for AMD Agesa 1.2.0.3 patch C, fTPM Switch is enabled by default. No idea how Intel handles it.
  13. Living World season 2 episode Arcana Obscura be like: https://imgur.com/a/zn7CpXT Edit: I did run Windows Disk Cleanup, which included clearing the Direct X shader cache. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but the DX11 beta wasn't giving me graphical problems until now.
  14. Mistlock Sanctuary be like: https://imgur.com/VZaxIqx
  15. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/arenanet-studio-update-july-2021/ I'd say there's a good chance as you can see here they mentioned being able to upgrade the graphics with DX11. 😀
