  1. On paper this spec is awesome. In practice it's pretty rubbish. With a few small tweaks it could really shine though. Dodge I understand the thought process behind this (~0.75 second per 50 endurance), but in practice it feels very, very bad. Instead, just make them all 0.75 second and 50 endurance like Thief, but give us only 1 like Mirage. Adjust numbers slightly, as they are already pretty underpowered. F2 This feels like a nothing trait. I'd rather have the core trait for free energy to be honest. The dodges are not high-value enough that I am desperate to fire them off constantly, and switching every Alliance skill to it's exact opposite is not what I want. I want to be in Kurzick OR Luxon most of the time, not both. This should really be split out or totally reworked as others have suggested. Also the energy cost is very high. 50% of your starting energy is a big ask. It also doesn't feel great on other legends. Traits These are the least impactful traits I have seen and that is saying something. Add more damage modifiers and interesting traits. Adept Zzzz. These are very underpowered. Amnest is the wrong way around and should offer much more might (2 - 3 stacks) and kurzick should remove a condition or something better than a few seconds of regen. Master The master line really all does the same thing in one way or another and this doesn't really create fun options. Song of Arboreum looks to be mathematically the best anyway. Add a big damage modifier and something to power up Greatsword. Grand Master As mentioned in the doge section, these are okay but the dodge time is too long. They need some tuning and all to be on 1 0.75s dodge at 50 energy. Reduce uptime to match. Balance in Discord This is also a nothing trait. 1.1k health and some regen every time I swap. Okay that's kind of nice but throw in some might or something interesting and we're talking. Alternatively scrap it entirely and move one of the Master minor traits to this slot and rebuild the whole Master set. Empire Divided This isn't too bad. They probably need a bit of a tweak but it feels a lot more like an Adept or Master tier minor than Grandmaster. Skills These all feel quite clunky and slow. I don't like the CD on swap. The skill that should go on cooldown should be the one you just used, not the one you are about to use. This will reduce a lot of the clunkiness. Heals They're fine but that's about it. They need a base heal though. Battle Dance/Nomad's Advance Battle Dance should ditch the wind-up. Nomad's needs a more might on cast, or could gain similar functionality to Facet of Strength where it gives you a buff on use. Really it's just very underpowered. Scavenger Burst/Tree Song These are pretty solid but could use a bit of a tune up. They feel underpowered. 5 seconds feels more reasonable for quickness and the cast time is a bit slow. Tree Song could use Swiftness of like 8s. Awakening/Reaver's Rage Boon durations are just way too short. They need a big buff. Also cast time should be removed. Why is a stunbreak on a cast time? Blergh. Spear/Urn Spear needs to hit way harder. Twice the damage. Urn needs the ability to double tap and the constant damage needs to be reduced by 50% Greatsword Underpowered and slow. It's like reaper GS but worse. Mist Unleashed should hit significantly harder, as should Phantom's Onslaught. Eternity's Requiem should offer yourself Might or Fury or something. Summary The spec mainly just feels slow, clunky and underbaked. It's hard to get at the abilities I want and when I can get them, they don't even feel that good to use.
  2. Maybe not so much a bug, but likely an oversight. GS 2 doesn't track your movement properly. The skill marks its trigger position partway through the animation essentially meaning that as you move, it will land "behind" you or "beside" you unless you have a perfect latency. Suggest the devs test this on the EU servers playing from America instead of in their 0ms offices.
  3. Yeah it feels much too slow. Also the whole idea of constantly wasting your dodge to keep up a damage buff is gross. The mechanic needs a rework. 15 seconds to one dodge is nasty. I really don't like this mechanic.
  4. Is it just me or is LFG getting silly with the number of categories? It can make it hard to actually find content or parties. Currently there are over 60 different categories to search through. This would be fine if they were filters or if you had some kind of system to look at multiple LFG categories at once, but you can't. Let's say you want to go run some dungeons (RIP), you have to click through 8 different tabs. Compare this to raids or strikes and you just have 2 - LFG and LFM. Living World and Expansion tabs are starting to look the same. 6 for LWS3, 6 for LWS4, 5 for PoF, 4 for HoT, 4 and counting for LW Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It's become harder and harder to actually find people to play with because groups are so segmented. It'd be nice to be able to at least select the top level categories (i.e. "Path of Fire", "LWS4", "Dungeons", "Fractals", etc.). Anyone else feel this or is it just me?
  5. Seriously? That's the balance we get after months of absolutely nothing. What a complete and utter let down.
  6. Several years ago, I created this thread, which outlined why the weapon Vlast was referring to was not the Spear and was potentially the Staff of the Mists, or as some others pointed out, the Scepter of Orr. However 3 years later, 1.5 living stories and with an expac on the way, I don't recall seeing an answer to this. Was this just another dropped plot? Did anyone find the answer?
  7. This is straight up getting ridiculous. Bots are running rampant and it's pretty clear ANet is doing nothing about it. Anyone have ideas on how to combat this (other than reporting, which let's be honest does absolutely nothing)? Getting matched with bots sucks, as does getting matched against them given they're usually hacking as well.
  8. This doesn't really make sense to me. I understand removing Empty Vessel (though I disagree with it) since almost every legend has a stunbreak, but making Fury on Disable a core trait of Invocation seems a bit silly. An enormous amount of builds, particularly those in PvE, don't use CC at all. This trait is effectively useless, especially as a Grandmaster Minor trait. This feels uninspired, boring, useless and does not play into the core theme of invocation well. I'm also curious about the ICD on this. If I hit someone with every strike of Staff 5 (9 hits), do I get 9 stacks of Fury? What's the duration as well? If this is a boring 5 seconds on disable that's really nothing to write home about and I'd say 90% of players would rather something more flavourful like you get from the other minor traits. I understand the idea behind it. You disable someone/something and you get a big boost to your crit chance to spike them, but really you've probably already got Fury from the wild number of traits and skills that give it to you anyway. This one needs more thought.
  9. Mate you're just plain classic vanilla yoghurt wrong. As an Australian with an academic and professional history in IT who has an "FTTP" (full fibre optic) connection, and having used many of the best ISPs available to consumers I can very confidently say ISP choice has basically nothing to do with it. You may have particularly bad ones, but even the best aren't going to get you below 200ms right out of Sydney (where just about all international traffic goes out of), and that's if you are lucky. On a GOOD day from Brisbane I get 260ms+. This is pretty garbage to play on. Sure it's playable, but that's like saying dog food is edible. You can eat it but I can bet you wouldn't want to. You also have to remember Australia is MASSIVE. Someone playing from Sydney is obviously going to get a better latency than someone from Brisbane or Dwayna-forbid, Perth. Even if you go through the absolute best routes and are living in Sydney with a fibre connection, you're going to be pulling 200ms+ on the reg. This is purely because of the distance. We MIGHT see an improvement with the undersea cable going direct to Guam soon, but I doubt it's going to make a difference. You're just wrong fam.
  10. Greatsword, but melee greatsword. None of this Mesmer laser beam rubbish. Floating it beside the revenant like Balthazar would be really cool but I'd be happy to have it with standard animations. Should thematically fit and be a power weapon. Rev has enough condi now.
