  1. Hi hey howdy bonjour, It has been some years since I posted here or made any roaming videos, but I have had tons of fun playing a support druid whilst roaming the last 6 months. The clips may not be the most amazing as they are just stuff I recorded during our previous matchup, I mostly made the video for my roaming buddies to watch so they could see what I'm doing around them (and how it would be really nice if they stopped dodging out of my heals), but thought I might share it with ya'll as well. With the upcoming balance patch stuff will surely change and I will have to tweak the build a little, but for now this will do just fine. The build I used in the video: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POwEYiNssBWIrjpxKxk/6tVVi9vC-DWJYjRNfhkUI0bCUdF47JgUEgeLtvZBA-w edit: Are we actually still allowed to share videos in this forum? It's been so long since I have been here and there doesn't seem to be many videos if at all? Or am I just blind?
  2. I think this idea is a good start and it's nice to know that you guys are also wanting to hear roamers opinions! Right now every server has certain reputation and you got to plan your playtime accordingly: some servers will bring nonstop roaming action that you don't want to miss out on and some others have nothing else but blobs all week long, so you sort of know when not to bother because it's simply going to be waste of time. Also in the current state higher the tier, less roaming action there seems to be. Transferring to lower tiers isn't going to be an option anymore due the worlds and people getting shuffled around anyway, so this kind of action guarantee sounds good.
  3. This is a very exciting change and at the same time a bit of a bummer too. I know my problem is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I would share my problem anyway. Over the past 5 years I have transferred down from T1 3 times I think, trying to escape from mother blobs and the pure PPT mentality that pushes servers higher because generally the higher the tier, less roaming action there is. It irks me that there is a chance the random shuffle throws me right back up in there again and there is no way to escape from it anymore. At least in the current system if I transfer to a low rank host server, there's a little to no chance for having to transfer again unless bandwagoners suddenly appears to make a certain server great again.
  4. https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/18853/druid-ranger-pets-ai-and-you#latest ...pets are incredibly OP. There are some totally clueless people over there commenting and spreading their kitten like usual (worst thing about it, Anet have a tendency to listen to ranger nerf requests). This actually makes sense now, they keep on saying class balance discussion should happen in class sub forums and apparently ranger balance happens in all the other sub forums but ours.. That's why we get hit by nerfs so often and bugs never get fixed (Unless it's something that warrants a nerf)!
  5. Thank you for the reply Gaile, even if it wasn't the answer we all were hoping for. It wouldn't be so bad if it was 1 or 2 pets that weren't working, but when the number goes up to 40 it is outrageous to say the least that nobody bothered fixing them (New pets are being added with each expansion so the number will keep growing!), especially when we have so many traits and skills that basically do nothing for majority of our pets. I think nobody bothered compiling a new core Ranger or Druid bug list when the old forums died, but here is a rather massive list of Soulbeast bugs anyway, in case you want to poke people about it -> https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/5067/soulbeast-list-of-bugged-non-functional-abilities-and-traits/

  7. Nah, never got a message from her :SShe told you to ask around if THEY'RE aware of the issue????? xD The F???? No no, I think she meant she was going to go and snoop around asking if anyone's in the office is aware of it.
  8. Welp, I posted in the AMA asking if they are aware of this issue and added a link to this topic. Gaile replied something about asking around, but I'm guessing the original message Johnny got was from her as well? I will bring up the question again in the next AMA in a few months time I guess.
  9. Reddit AMA today, time to raise this question there again I guess!
  10. Quickness on devs is bugged too, that's why they are so slow to fix this.
  11. I don't find the OG Hyena model ugly, I find it diseased and malnourished, it looks like it would belong to a necro or an abusive owner. And I think the Siamoths are fine... don't gotta be hating on my little ecto piggie You know how sometimes pets and their owners look-a-like? Maybe that's the idea with the hyena model too as rangers were pretty much abused by everyone else!
