  1. Asia(- China) may have over 500 million gamers but A-net wasn't able to penetrate Japan-Korea-Taiwan. The Big3 of Of PC MMO gaming . Maybe they could try again when GW2 have a a phone client where the rest of Asia can afford installing some games on mobile which still hard since the market is very saturated with game that more fitting to people life style.
  2. I already past 30K AP. Nobody give me special treatment. I still get pester by random confusing people doing my things. When I log out . I don't have those AP to show about .
  3. Some people have special need more than just fun. If you can't provide them don't do it trying to not pissed them off.
  4. Dragon end is putting easy strike at the end of the 60 minute map with some gear/buff check. Which make the experience very random. What I see on failed map are either AFK that don't farm the event's before escort or don't equip jade bot core to get protocol buffs. Then there are issue when people getting to Soo-won semi AFK or even a Multibox leeching. In success map when there are 30 people in squad with all the box checked the run will usually be done with 5 minute left.
  5. Only harder content need roles (Tier4 Fractals, Raid, Strike, Dragon's end). Because they are time limited and mechanic can wipe party. People going down can go into domino really fast when there no healer unless they don't make mistake twice in a row. Currently There are 3 role that general population recognized . DPS , Boon support, Healer. Some build can do 2 of these roles. And group will look for 2 boon Alacrity , Quickness to maximize the to group damage.
  6. GW2 lack player interaction moderation. Its Free for all. Nobody like playing Schrodinger teammate. Bots,people that cannot chill +someone out of the league in the same game. Mixed them together you got a recipe for unfun game experience. Breaking out of unfun bracket will require somekind of Co-Op in the long run. Also in some open world map there are group of people running business . I've seen some wired drama in map chat. A-net doesn't have enough people to focus on those . People either leave the content or make their own rule that random joe will not understand and repeat those mistake.
  7. Tools are nice but not understand why people are advocating DPS meter in open world. The place was chaotic with bunch of people who does semi AFK on the world boss. Its like aggressive hot dog sale pitch on place that doesn't eat pork.
  8. This map is about personal preparation as well as boons and food provide by sqaud. When you see half of squad don't bother to run around get those protocol buffs and 0 contribution buff mean you are in for a hard DPS carry contest. 30 minute is minimum for a fresh map to get fully prep squad for Soo-won.
  9. Process of moving AR to new gear set is a reason why I don't do T4 anymore. Would be great if AR is an account bond mastery or consolidated in a single equipment across a character.
  10. Not a perfect openworld class due to not having AoE on scepter kit. Less initiative , Acalarity affect still not anything to intiative. Shrouds skilll are goood old stuffs. Shadow art build doesnt really bring much to the spec .getting into stelth option limited
  11. Being a commander put you up in a spot light and sometime a Pyre. Those meta map just have more people who can't manage their expectation. Don't let those random void filled awaken ruin your day. I had 10 day kill before I encountered those I'm gonna be done with DE once I got all the Legendary mats and take a break untill. Those map clear off those guy and get away from unnecessary Random people on map avoiding scheme. Which maybe a couple year like Dragon stand where people can do it with 1 tag now.
  12. Running DE meta is like doing customer service job thats why so few people Pull an LFG. People already get the mechanics down but they are afraid of getting left behind and waste 1 hour .
  13. Long stroy short I solo commanded and got nitpicked by PUGs from the start to finish . It happens because people afraid of wasting time on no kill map. Organized Pug run are bound to be people with thier own voice. Trouble come when people don't follow specific massage and get left behind My Observation a stacked group of 30 people and the rest of the map is minimum requirement to down Soo-won. Sole reason for people don't want to TAG up and lead is not because of DPScheck but fear of losing time on the 1.5 hour META. And getting Angry mob pile on. The map success are preparations. Boons are good for DPS check .Offense/Defense Protocals are play a major role for being easy to access to boons but neglected by some players . If A-net don't want to nerf Soo-won further to be another Dragon storm . They should get those buff easier to access. Perhaps before getting to Harvest temple . There should be a solo event that easy once you have protocols up and repeatable.
  14. Would be very nice that meteor you can dig stay persist longer when nobody touched it. The dead map making it harder to spot and digging up quartz due to mobs keep poking you.
