  1. I love the Moba concept being applied which allows more diverse strategies and counter picking options. Hope it turns out to be good enough for anet to consider adding this system to tournaments or a new future pvp game mode. Looking forward to see this, best of luck.

What did they expect by releasing 1 raid per year?People tried their best to keep the raid community alive, lots of training guilds, raid tournaments that have collected +10k viewers, creation of raid guilds etc etc. The community have done everything they could. However ANet didnt, people begged for easy modes, no information. People asked for better and repeatable rewards for CMs, no information. People asked for more raids, no information. People asked for even harder modes, no information. But saying "GW2 has a vibrant community and we're always looking at ways to keep the game engaging for people." and "please continue sharing your ideas and letting us know the kinds of things you want in the game" just sounds SO lame when people have been sharing their thoughts and ideas for years and years but never received a feedback or response from ANet. What about story episodes that are done only once and the new map that you have put hours of work into dies in 2 months? Result? "Raids are being done by very few people so we are abandoning". Oh I wonder why...

Honestly I want to say that these balance notes have proved that ANet balances classes based on their benchmark numbers once again.I believed that condi weaver was perfectly fine with its damage given its 1. Light armor 2. Lowest hp 3. Complex rotation which is harder to execute in raids compared to other specs 4. No group utility no boons 5. very reliant on %100 boon uptime. However, Power Weaver has been a joke since Holo/Power Chrono does more damage easily and Power Soulbeast is BEYOND BROKEN which can also bring stance share/spirit. I also play Pslb in fractals and nothing comes close in terms of burst, I am talking about +120k dps numbers. https://dps.report/VHXL-20200319-200020_mama (check phase 1 for reference). Yet the only change they do is -50 power and -50 condition damage. Seeing this change makes me think ANet doesnt want us to play anything interesting or hard but just stack same classes and press axe5 to win. I recommend ANet to play their own game before they balance classes. I doubt anyone in Arenanet has played Condi Weaver in a raid and went "oh my god this is broken, I must nerf!". There are more things to talk about but I dont want to write an essay here and ANet wont probably bother reading this and care about it.
  4. Nerfed condi weaver in PVE for what? Condi Quickbrand will now do almost does same damage with way easier rotation, you just proved again that you balance classes based on SC golem benchmark numbers.Pvp notes are another disappointment.Thanks for the patch notes, now I can delete in peace.
  5. Here we are again in our endless circle of "we want to communicate more!" and "radio silence" for months again. As usual we all were baited by anet with some communication. Expansion announcement, more frequent balance patches and etc. But here we are slowly shifting from hopeful to hopeless as promises were broken once again and nothing decent has been stated to follow up the previous attempts at communicating. So my questions are and I guess most people have the same are; -How is the expansion going? Can we hear more about it? -What happened to balance every 4-6 weeks? Did you mean 4-6 months? -Whats the reason of massive lags recently, can we do anything about it? -Allianc... Just kidding -If you made strikes to gather more people and prepare them for raids, then why are we not getting any new raids? -You said you want to increase difficulty with each new strike, but that has been not the case for the last 2, did you change your direction with strikes? -How is the development of new fractal CM going? Can we expect it in 2020? -Will there be any sort of new legendaries or are we officially done with them all? -Any q3 roadmaps like you did for q1 and q2? Thanks and hope we can hear a few words before you go silent for another 3 months.

  7. I create full strike run everyday on lfg without asking LI even tho I have almost 2k now. I never had problems with clearing it, yes there are some people who have no idea or do 2-3k dps die here and there, but thats just fine, tolerate them or help them by giving advice or sharing your builds. If we dont tolerate newbies and kick them rightaway it will ruin their motivation and after that we will cry that no strikes are being released because no one is doing them. Funny thing is whenever I join a party asking for LI, ironically they fail more or someone leaves the party after a specific boss. Strikes are easy, just create your own squad know what roles are needed and do it. Dont know the boss mechanics? Just watch a video, it takes 2 minutes.

  9. But you cannot ignore and let something to be severely broken because of this, I assure you broken builds make more people leave pvp. As our PvP community loves abusing these broken builds because they care more about virtual numbers rather than having fun, the big changes will and should continue. However, if ANet is faster with fixing those things, then maybe your part of discussion might be solved. I am still amazed by the fact that ANet has not done a single thing about condi thief yet. That is why I do not enjoy pvp right now and decided to stop playing for a while. Also not forgetting explosive holos and core rangers(birds) but there are already enough threads about them.
  10. I feel like it doesnt kill fast enough, it usually takes 3 seconds to kill which feels like forever.Also amount of condis are too low, 15 stack of poison, confusion, torment and bleeding using 1 skill is just useless and underperforming.Please buff. ty
  11. I would have to disagree with "removing" or "hard nerfing" lightning rod, currenly weaver has literally 1 viable build. Water weaver is bad, fire weaver is bad and only build left is LR which also has 0 reliable condi cleanse and it gets countered by any condi class. Fire weaver had been meta for too long and im glad that it changed. However I agree on tempest, auras are too strong and its healing is quite massive.
  12. First of all I want to start by saying I really enjoyed the patch when it first hit, but as time passed, current meta actually feels worse than before now. I feel like some things are out of control and a hotfix should have arrived much earlier. I have been playing pvp for quite a long time and I have been playing in the plat 2-3 ranks for the last 5-6 seasons, so my discussion will mostly be about plat rank games, please keep in mind that winrates and pickrates differ a lot between ranks, thus a spec might not be a problem for high rank games but might be a lot of problem for lower ranks and I know that balancing things can get more complicated than it seems which may impact a certain rank range more than the other. I would like to discuss some things that I think need adjustments per class/spec and hope you guys also add your opinions so we can create a nice discussion which I hope will build a constructive discussion. General: Ressing is out of control, it feels like killing a downed guy is harder than killing it when its alive. The nerf on geyser trait on ele was a good change, but most other ressing abilities are overperforming since overall damage is reduced, cleaving opponents have become much harder, yet ressing is way too strong. However, I think rez signets are not a problem, since a class sacrifices a utility slot for that its safe to say they are ok, however they should get a cooldown increase overall.Core Necromancer and Reaper: Carapace should grant less toughness and should be harder to generate. Vitality should not increase shroud amount.Fear of death trait needs a tradeoff like revenants, like "fear does damage and longer, but conditions on you are also longer by xx%".Eternal Life is the biggest problem in core necro, the trait is very strong. Reaper just needs an overall damage reduction. Possibly reduce ferocity gained from shroud and death perception.Core Ranger: Pets need a huge damage nerf.Killing a pet does not reward the player, ranger can swap pet and keep going. We can add a rez cooldown to pet when it dies or disable pet swapping when its dead for some time.Protect me has 24s cd when traited which is a stunbreak AND gives 4k barrier along with prot. Has a lot for the short cd it has. Maul is fine. The problem is the block on gs, it should block only 1 instance of damage and instantly counter attack similar to full counter. Wilderness knowledge should cleanse 1 condition instead of 2. Condi Core Thief: I will not even comment on this. Elementalist: Tornadooooooooooooooooooo.Holosmith: Mortar kit should get a minimum range to work, what I mean is they should not be able to spam under their feet. Its a mortar right? Blind on mortar can use an interval of 3s rather than 1s. Explosive entrance has too many trait synergies, thus can use an ICD.Radiant arc should only grant quickness if it hits.ECSU is the problem of the high damage, its very easy to keep +20might during fight. Should have a higher interval. Prot holo just needs an overall sustain nerf. Being able to bunker AND use berserker amulet is not ok. Overshield could use a lower modifier but there are a lot of other things that should be looked into in alchemy traitline.Renegade: Summons should have less health and reduced durations.Summon AOE can be reduced. Herald: Rather than increasing energy costs of each skill with each patch, changing or reworking their functionality could be a better approach.Condi revenants have way too high resistance uptime, demonic defiance can be changed to grant resistance when dropped under a certain energy threshold only once while in mallyx. Abyssal Chill could use an ICD.Demonic Resistance damage reduction can be changed to %5 permanent reduction and additional %5 when having resistance. %20 is a bit too much.Call to anguish has very large AOE, could be reduced to 240. I cant believe people have issues with LR, but not complaining about unkillable non-stop condi spam core necros or pets that do 9k damage or ranger longbow that gets you to %50 with 2 skills in 5 seconds oh, and if you even double dodge that longbow 4-2 combo, guess what? 8k maul incoming. Ele has lowest hp pool and lowest armor, yet LR requires you to fight melee, while necro has the highest hp pool and fights range, lets not forget that LR weaver has 0 reliable cleanse, the only one is magnetic wave which has 25s cd and dodging in water, thats it. Any condi bomb will melt LR weaver in seconds. Also lets not forget weaver lost all of its reliable stability and stunbreak CD from 45 to 75s. So please, before complaining about it just look at the class overall, if weaver loses LR its completely dead.
  14. LR weaver is fine. It requires a certain level of skill, has a much higher learning curve and is more complex than most specs. Looking at core necros which also apply perma weakness together with 5-6 other condis on you non stop combined with 30k+ hp, I think LR is ok that it does some damage and only applies weakness, lets not forget it has lowest hp pool and very vulnerable to condi, any condi pressure and LR weaver goes poof. Having another look at core ranger which just kites you around while tiger or bird crits you with random 9ks to death also pew pewing you non-stop with longbow for thousands of damage, I think LR is not even a concern.
