  1. I mostly came back just for few friends that I have, but even with that i am not playing much anymore, and each patch makes me not wanna bother even. The only thing that looks interesting is the 50% nerfs, these just makes me wanna read the forums! =pPretty much every single one person I knew not playing anymore, big F
  2. The problem is indeed, not with a vault.The problem is how a staff thief connects one dodge to another and never stop. I am fine with thieves spamming Dodge + Debilitating Arc if they need to get more defensive, plus they still have blind with Dust Strike. There is no need for Vault to be a dodge as well.The thief must decide between playing more offensive or more defensive. Vault is an offensive skill, there is no need to have dodge frames. Except it is not fine, vault has a long obvious animation that will always get interrupted unless it has evasion frames. As it stands it has a moment of vulnerability near the end of the vault telegraphed by the big blue glow; literally no one has a issue with vault except you and your fetish for nerfing staff.What could be done to vault is they could add a red danger ring to the landing location, akin to jump shot, as judging the aoe by eye can be hard at times.Before claiming something like "big blue glow" its a standart for every skill and not a tell "stun me now" and not avail for people who doesnt have high settings on. Its far away from being super ezpz no effort to catch the right moment when the vault ends (instant cc makes it easier), misstimed cc might cost you 8k health or one shot you from full health (depends on the build)
  3. didnt you quit :) ? 50% nerfs on everything mesmer has was done by previous incompetent "balance team" or whatever it was called and the "new one" is the same, just throw another 50% dmg nerf without adressing the issues or even trying to figure it out. I'm glad I quit, the best decision since I started to play this game. Sad to see they destroyed the game with huge potential and great combat system, expect more people to alt+F4
  4. Why should stolen skills lose charges on interrupt/cancel? None of the other ammo skills do AFAIK.Always has been that way for 7 years and consume ecto is beyond busted stolen skill, once they delete it, I would be fine with it ofc. (I have an idea, lets give thief ecto from every steal, slightly increase thief viability in pvp :) )Also not being able to power block it too, they are just immune to skill interrupt punishment, meh. Yeah it has been there 7 yrs so it's fine, evade on staff has been there since hot release so it's fine:) maybe anet leaves it cuz it fits the theme of a evasive squishy fighter? Plus removing it also is literally another step to dumbing down the game even further which is cool if that's what u want. With that said gs evade shouldn't have been removed either. I read a few times that people could stow on the 3rd attack almost chaining evades and if that was legit shoulda been the only thing to fix.Well, its went into direction of stolen bundle skill, not staff 3.17k hp with abnormal evsaion uptime is far away from being "squishy". Doesnt even matter if you outnumber it, its just spam evades.Anyway, read the convo first before posting o_o I catch DD flopping all the time with stuns etc and shut them down fairly easy the few times I actually see one in pvp lol that's a l2p issue. After using warrior just a few days I was running over most thieves I cam across. If u time ur stuns, dazed and imobilizes u down them so fast.Read the convo? It's about why gs evade chain was removed and not staffs right?   6. And delete all escape tools from classes, especially Thief and Mesmer along with them.Both classes are overloaded with escaping melee range. Warrior NEEDS powerful tools to keep enemies in range, since it's non-melee weapons are unviable. I agree with the utility aspect, but does it have to be overloaded with might, reveal, pull, unblockable, damage increase, for a duration of 8s on 12s cd? I mean, might generation have been removed from some classes for way less than that. Edit: also classes with teleports don't have high vit/toughness to begin with.This dude thought I want to delete the magebane tether itself, but I meant might... he cut first part of my post. And thats what I meant, its overloadedmight, reveal, pull, unblockable, damage increase, for a duration of 8s on 12s cdIts cooldown starts when you proc tether, so next tether is avail in 4s (assuming its expired without breaking of course)
