Your comments are poorly masked. Saying Mesmers have too much stealth/condi./burst/boons and everything else AND all in tandem is obvious hate and untrue. As far as fun to play vs. fun to fight against has some merit, I don't like fighting against other mesmers either but who has "fun" fighting a perma evade/stealth thief, or the warr. that hits for 5k auto attacks yet has 1k Passive regen. AND tons of invuln/blocks or yolosmith, or boonbest or...….or...…..

THIS is the problem exactly. Bad players who get confused by clones will ALWAY QQ about mesmers. no matter how bad and under performing they are. period.

this post is spot on. its becoming ever more clear that the nerfs to mes. , especially in the last 2-ish yrs, are not well thought out, and the lack of tool tip updates (they just updated jaunt to show 2 instead of 3 recently) Are all good examples of the devs just trying to calm the QQ down from "main stream" classes. What other class has been reduced to one dodge?? none. WvW is 80% heavy. So Mesmer is right where they want it now, Basically unplayable. that's why they have not "fixed" crono. and now they wont undo mirage dodge. There has always been good player feedback on what they could do to make things better. but they just cut skills by 50% and call it "good". No thought, and taking the lazy way out. better to keep the masses happy and kill Mesmer. the sad thing is even if every Mesmer left the game, there are so few left it would not even budge their numbers. when have you ever been run over by a Mesmer/light class zerg? Never....The meta is go-heavy-or-go-home

Your timing is perfect.....to reroll a heavy. There is NO reason to play Mesmer in any game mode. like Xstein said Mesmer is gone and that's the way they want it. The other players QQed until you have nothing left to play Mesmer, or anything else for that matter, but a heavy in WvW. Zergs are 80% heavy classes. When was the last time a zerg of light classes rolled over you?? (P.S. never)

Unfortunately Mesmer has always been one of the least played in the game, and the sheer numbers of QQ from the other classes overwhelms the conversation and its easier to nerf mes. Love your OP. says a lot.

Yeah 2+ Solid years of 50% nerfs (cuz there is no other kind) has raped Mesmer from everything but a port whore in pve. And like ppl above have said, because its one of the least played/understood classes it will always be hated by everyone else in pvp/wvw. If you have ANY desire to play anything but pve then just run something else.

Pretty rough is one way to put it. But for ppl who are not paying attention lets recap. daredevil still gets 3 dodges and mirage now gets 1(that's fair). plus I run IH that is a 50% defensive nerf AND a 50% offensive nerf in one swing. Homerun for the devs. They have figured out how to put a 50% nerf (cuz what other kind is there?) on offence AND defence with ONE change. Well that must have got high fives from the whole co. And I congradulate them on a successful pushing out of one more player from Mesmer/WvW. Crono is a joke and now mirage too. And since I REFUSE to play the go-heavy-or-go-home meta that has been around for the last few yrs. I will leave the game now. Just tired of getting sh*t on. GL HF

Because mirage is so dead :^) its not dead per say, just under the competition. and even if it was out of controll, it has builds that can be HARD countered if specced against it.condi mirage in its current form, can be made utterly useless by 1 competent firebrand, tell me a build that can do the same against holo ? or warrior ?but unlike warrior or holo we KEEP GETTING NERFED STILL. when Im dueling warrior on my power mirage, i HAVE to outplay him hard. going even means I lose big time.for every ability warrior lands, i have to land 3-4 to make it even. If i goof big time im goners, if they goof big time they press reset button and here we go again.if the fight goes my way war/holo can disengage, they have superior mobility.asuming you mean condi, there is literarly 0 chase potential. you dont get kills on that build. you are more of a stinging mosquito that shoos people away from node. Untill its squished ofc.funny since on my condi i can do around 500-600k dmg and have 4-5kills. yet on warrior i can dish out 300 and have 15 or 20. Funny, i play warrior and cant seem to kill mirage, they chain all those dodges and invulns together and as soon as they get low, they just run, stealth and/or blink up a ledge, just to come back again with full hp and spam their condis on me. And ive met mirages in wvw that i wasnt able to get away from with sword/shield + greatsword and bullscharge, while they can always disengage because they have stealth and all that mobility lol, ALL that stealth and mobility, says the warrior.....every warrior I have ever fought has just pops stab. and runs away when he gets low on health and no way a Mesmer is going to catch him.

This is what will most likely happen. 50% nerfs and trait disables until no more complaints about mesmers. PERIOD.

oh, btw, and the silence on crono-nerf has been Deafening!!!

just wondering if the current state of crono and Mesmer in general says everything about the class and WvW, PvP in this game. the fact that jaunt tool tip has not been fixed for 6 months and CI is non-functional for just as long basically says the devs REALLY don't care about this class anymore. now that necros and thieves can port too now,what reason is there to play a Mesmer?!?
