  1. Hello. I'm a returner interested in your guild. I've checked in on the game every few months, but haven’t actually played since near the end of IBS. I'm familiar with dungeons and T1 fractals, but haven't ever been to raids or most of the strike missions. I'm still in the process of working a new character through the story, but I hope to get into some events and instanced content when I get to it.
  2. I've had this problem both today and yesterday when opening the store with the UI button. Coming up with this in the error log: *--> Error Logs <--* 07:16:17Z NULL REWARD TRACK: B60BD479-635F-E111-BBF3-78E7D1936222 07:16:17Z NULL REWARD TRACK: B60BD479-635F-E111-BBF3-78E7D1936222 07:16:20Z Texture missing mip chain: 0x011f2e 07:16:20Z Texture missing mip chain: 0x011f30 07:16:21Z Texture missing mip chain: 0x014655 07:16:21Z Texture missing mip chain: 0x014657 07:17:23Z Debug token '0x00000000000266FA': Lightning ran out of space for new bolts. 07:18:44Z Debug token '0x00000000000266FA': Lightning ran out of space for new bolts. 07:18:46Z Material '0x034fc5' is missing textures. 07:18:53Z Texture '0x216022' dimensions too small 07:18:53Z Loading '0x216022' texture failed 07:18:53Z Texture '0x216023' dimensions too small 07:18:53Z Loading '0x216023' texture failed 07:19:05Z Model '0x123674': Permutation 'boworange' not found, auto selecting permutation Crashed at 07:20:54Z
  3. I'm having the same issue. Fatal error anytime I open the store today.
  4. I'm not sure which games you might be comparing to, but GW2 gear acquisition isn't quite the same as in most of the games I've played in the past. While you can definitely get gear from loot drops or events, that tends not to be the primary source of gearing up in my experience. Most people I know get their gear primarily from crafting or from the various currencies (karma, laurels, LW S3 zone currency, etc). I'd say, personally, I've probably bought 2-3 pieces of gear total from the trading post. What I usually do when I get a new character leveled is craft weapons, then go to Orr to buy armor and rings with karma, and leave the accessories/amulet as whatever masterwork or rare I have until I can get one from loot/story/currency. I'm still very slowly progressing my armor from exotic to ascended doing it through a combination of crafting, item collections, fractals, and LW currency vendors.
  5. Upgrading to exotic gear will definitely help with the speed that you're able to clear out enemies in the HoT and/or PoF zones. The newer areas are more dense with enemies than the old areas, generally speaking, and they also tend to hit a bit harder. While it doesn't bother me too much, I do agree with you that sometimes it's nice just to be able to do something without fighting 5+ creatures to do it, and that's something that's rare once you leave the 1-78 zones. I doubt you'll ever get quite the same experience as the core zones, but I can say from experience that upgrading gear, unlocking hero points, and a little bit of practice will make the new zones a lot faster and smoother to get around in.
  6. Hi Evu, we use Teamspeak all the time as we have multiple channels. We have a general room where you can hang out and chat as you are doing solo stuff like map clears, crafting, personal story, etc. Then we have breakout rooms for groups when they are working on dungeons and fractals where they need to coordinate a bit more and hear one another without cross chat. Actual VOIP use varies by person, however. We have players that rarely, if ever, use TS because they have young children sleeping/napping or the spouse is in the same room watching TV or something. Then, we have others that are on whenever they have the chance. Its really up to the individual. Hope that answers your questions! Auro Thanks for the info. I submitted an application.
  7. I have a question. I'm not very familiar with Teamspeak, most games I've played in the recent past used Discord. How often is it used and in what content? Is it primarily for raids/groups, or all activities, or are most people on it most of the time they play?
  8. I'm currently using an older version of Reshade (2.0), but I'm not seeing a difference with this issue whether or not I use it.
  9. I tried this fix. Definitely didn't work for me. Disabling fullscreen optimization caused GW2 to consistantly crash while loading the launcher.
  10. I updated Win 10 to the April feature update last night and immediately started experiencing this problem. Like others, I turned off focus assist and that changed it from showing the desktop the entire time a loading screen would be present (a few seconds) to just blinking to the desktop right before the map actually loads (less than a second). It's feels like Windows is treating the game as if it's not running in the moment between the loading screen ending and the actual map loading.
