  1. This is why Thief gameplay gets frustrating. Not only it will miss because people will jump around when you go invis on you to not hit. And ALSO on top of that there is a 1 sec CD after missing. I only do backstab for the boons and effects. It now hits like a wet noodles. SO why BS? I build to depend on my heart seeker for the big damage and finish. BS is just the initial combo.
  2. Yes immob! This will make it more helpful for closing gabs. If they add it then please let the character say "Get over here!!" lol please! But seriously, they already have "Scorpion Wire" heheheh
  3. Hello,The shadow arts is not showing correctly on the steal tool tips. I would change it and it won't update and hidden thief trait also not showing. Not sure if this affects anything else.Video proof: Thank you
  4. I think the high initiative is to prevent spaming thief happening. I would suggest Anet to do next is increase the rate of initiative to regenerate so that way a thief with great timing will be rewarded.
  5. Already been requested many times since the day the patch for this came out. Their response was the reduce CD. Its very rare they would listen. I feel like you have trouble landing backstab then? LOL I say reduce the damage on backstab all together and BUFF up the other skills (Heart seeker, death blossum, etc.). We should encourage combo chains skills to do more damage and not a one hit wonder or two button cheesy builds If this happens; can D/D and P/P get some love too? xDEDIT: Not talking DE dual daggers or condi builds with permastealth builds. Only power!
  6. Power s/d daredevil with acro? So u are using 4 trait lines or dropping DA? They are dropping DA. AC/TR/DD - It's mostly S/P so they can chain combo bound with black powder. I mostly seen this in wvw and they survive a lot longer and better at brawling other profs while roaming.
  7. Question: I don't like the wording on this. "Utility Skills" only means one of the 3 utility skills equipped not including healing and elite skills. If it includes healing and elite, it might not be too bad. But if "utility skills" only...aaahh...no thank you. Resetting an Elite skill is the only reason I would take this. I can't believe I didn't notice that. Shooot... this concerns me. Are they quietly getting rid of dagger storm improv COMBO!?   9. It is the maximum. 30 seconds is without any cd applied by traist for swipe.
  10. I guess Anet saw too many people didn't want that change.Edit - Before it was a good burst but if they did the change then it will nuff the burst and give it a more consistent poison application if and only if you are still attacking it every 2 secs. Nerf to condi mostly.
  11. ThiefThe previous Shadow Arts update landed pretty well overall, but we think that the siphons ended up a little weak. We're tuning these up a bit, as well as touching up a few other traits that didn't feel quite right. In addition to these changes, we're updating Improvisation to recharge a random utility skill on the skill bar rather than a random utility skill type. This change is intended to lower the variance on the trait and to allow for more flexibility in utility selection. Finally, stolen bundles now use the ammo system in order to help with readability. Steal: Fixed a bug that could cause the shadowstep to fail in rare situations. Swipe: Fixed a bug that could cause the shadowstep to fail in rare situations. Reduced recharge from 30 seconds to 25 seconds. Hidden Thief: Fixed a bug that could cause this trait to activate even if Steal failed. Leeching Venoms: This trait now immediately grants a stack of spider venom when the thief first enters stealth and every 3 seconds after. Improvisation: Instead of recharging an entire skill category at random, this trait now recharges one of your equipped utility skills at random. Stolen Bundles: Stolen bundles now show their number of uses as ammunition. Shadow Siphoning: Increased base healing by 62%. Cloaked in Shadow: Increased base damage and the damage multiplier by 100%. Increased base healing by 100% and the heal multiplier by 60%. Lead Attacks: Fixed a bug that caused this trait to grant less than the listed 15% recharge reduction.
