  1. I don't bother with leyline anomaly, but I do a daily Dragonstorm. The time taken is nearer to 10 minutes than 15, and in addition to the guaranteed 2 Gold, you get 6 memories of Aurene (worth 3 to 4 Gold) and regular (one or two per month) bonus drops (Frostsaw, gift of Aurene) plus a chance of getting a Pristine Dragon Eye (not happened for me though!)
  2. And also: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/A_Strange_Diet
  3. Every HoT meta I've showed up to for the last couple of days has been fully populated, and checking LFG indicates many other instances are equally populated. So regardless of the rewards, the event has doubtlessly achieved its purpose.

  5. Ascended gear is account bound, meaning you can move it between characters. So you might buy several versions of a unique item and then distribute them across different characters. It would be very annoying if I could only buy an account bound item on specific characters.
  6. There was a much bigger nerf on the Black Lion Mastery Coffers, which you could originally vendor for 1G, but now are only worth 20s.
  7. Well that's pretty conclusive then. A small majority of GW2 forum users haven't quit GW2.
  8. Bug Fix: Fixed an issue that prevented the following achievements from completing when the player accomplished their objectives: Reconquer the Crash Site Climb (Weekly) Reconquer the Hidden Depths (Weekly) Reconquer the Retrospective Runaround (Weekly) Revenge of the Vinewrath (Weekly)
  9. It's not a limitation of the game or the servers. I have a budget gaming rig, but very good internet connectivity. I don't have any issues in Convergences or WvW, despite having my graphics settings all turned up, even when other members of my squad are complaining about skill lag. The inference from my anecdotal evidence is that the network is a critical component in these scenarios, but networks are complex beasts; even if your local connection is top notch, your routing through to AWS may be sub-optimal.
  10. "They" spend time updating the wiki to make things easier and more accessible. "They" aren't the game devs, so what more do you expect them to do?
  11. Already in the pipeline in the UK. Smoking is banned in enclosed workplaces/public places and there's plans to steadily increase the minimum age to buy cigarettes so that the next generation will never be allowed to purchase.
  12. You know all those entries in the wiki were made by players just like you? They weren't given any inside knowledge; they just figured it out for themselves and shared their findings so that lazier people like me can get some hints when we're stuck.
  13. They certainly won't give you any sort of generic approval in a public forum; that could be abused by other users. IP/IC laws are very nuanced and you'd most likely need to submit some sort of detailed description of what you were doing and you might manage to get some tacit approval along the lines of how they worked with the arcdps developer. But for the limited use case you have outlined, I doubt it's worth either your time documenting it or their time reviewing it.
  14. I've never paid for any TP2Fs and I have nearly two stacks' worth.
