Absolutely what the game needs is: TENGU!

I understand the frustration as the OP states. But like some said before me "not a good business model." Games do change over time and it's that time for Anet to get GW2 up to date with stuff. Sorry OP, but it has to be. I have ran this game on a 2011 Samsung RC512 laptop (when out of town for vacation & etc.). It has a core i7-2630QM @ 2.00GH, 6GB ram, and a 525M GPU. The lowest settings possible with 10-20 FPS. Talk about trying to play this game. It was bad the laptop would sometimes over heat. I did my best with what I had. Played a few events as well, Wintersday & Dragon Bash. Also did a few World Bosses and that never went well about 5-8 FPS. This was with the current state of game running DX9. Laptop has Win 10. But I got myself a better laptop. I saved my money even with a very well paying job. I put very little money aside for about two years to get a better laptop.

Like everyone said before "it's not much." But I understand and feel your pain on that. When I first played it many years ago, it took me forever to get the hang of it. Yes, it is a very boring mini event during Wintersday. But I have to say the most tedious thing for Wintersday is the Spirited Drinker achievement, that is not fun at all.

True and it could very well be that. Give a few days then try again. If it continues to happen. I would say go to the local branch and ask if there is a way to not have X payment blocked. They might be able to do that. I know I'm not much help sorry.

Anet would like taking your money, just like everyone else. LOL joking aside. That issue has happened to a lot of us out there. Usually you'll log in to the bank or email saying yes I tried making that purchase. Clear it and try again. Usually it'll work. But banks will block a purchase because of the automated system flags it as fraudulent. And the typical answer is there's nothing wrong, which is true. I would say it has something to do with making that purchase through Anet systems, which then a bank will flags it as fraudulent. Don't quote me on this because I'm not a bank expert for online purchases. Sorry I'm just being that typical copy & paste person.

Yeah that's weird. At least it works for you on Win 10. Hope Anet does investigating and gets a patch out for those with the problem on Win 11.

Sorry might not be any help to any of you, that are having problems. I just picked up a new gaming laptop with win 11 and I have had no problems running the game as of late. How do you launch the game? Is it through Steam or the stand alone client? Check all updates for Win 11 and GPU drivers from the manufacture. That might fix the problem. I do know out drivers can prevent the game from launching on Win 10. It can also go with Win 11. But I can not speak for the Steam client version. However, the Steam client could be the culprit. Also make sure your are running the 32 or 64 bit version. If your running a 64 bit client on a 32 bit system that, may or may not cause problems. If anyone knows anything else would like to hear.
