  1. Apologies for the misleading title. Let me reframe my question: I'm just playing around the build editor at the moment first so I don't waste money switching around. I want to use equip Celestial (A) and Rampager (B) for my WvW scourge build focusing mainly on removing boons from enemies. I chose Celestial (A) because apparently that's the best balanced stat and I chose Rampager (B) because apparently Necros don't really have that many condition cleanses: The best one is Consume Conditions which inflict a condition on yourself; more if you have Master of Corruptions.Nefarious Favour has a long cool down in WvW and it cannot be reduced via traits.Locust Swarm has a 900 units range but it travels in a horizontal plane so if you're fighting at an incline, it won't work.So I decided not to focus on damage and instead focus on boon removal since: a) Conditions do most damage when duration and stacks are high andb) Conditions get cleansed pretty easily in WvW by other classes I think? Hence, I also decided to equip Sigil of Generosity which transfers a condition upon critically hitting, so that's dependent on critical hit chance correct? So I'm also equipping Sigil of Perception for that. I also have Sigil of Cleansing on my secondary equipment so if I swap to that, that helps too. I also have Rune of Antitoxin. So...my question is: Since I'm equipping a mix of Stat A and Stat B, what's the best combination? Should I have all my armour Stat A, all accessories Stat B, all weapons Stat A? Should I have half of my armour Stat A and Stat B 50/50? How about my accessories? Etc? For my current goal at least, what is a good critical hit chance percentage? Anything above 75%? Sigil of Generosity has a 6 second cool down so I'm wondering at what critical hit chance percentage would I see diminishing returns and I should instead increase another stat? At the end of the day, I'm trying to last longer as I noticed power doesn't really affect me currently but I get spammed with conditions and as I said, I don't have good enough cleanses. So if I can apply boons to myself (as those can be corrupted so more conditions to remove), at least I can take away boons from others (most of my skills now remove rather than corrupt boons) while minimising conditions on myself. I think that would level the field a bit more. I also noticed my condition damage doesn't drop too low either. Sorry for the horrible flow of information. I had so many questions, I didn't know where to start. Thank you! Link to my current build:http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?PS1As2ZlVwyYcMPmJOqL2vNA-z1QY1ohVC+QiSCErKoXhgkHA-w
  2. Can runes and sigils be used across multiple template slots? What this means is:you can use Meteorlogicus across multiple equipment templates with different stats and different sigils, since legendary items allow for thisyou can use the same ascended items (or any non legendary quality) across multiple templates, but you can not change the stats or upgrades in them without further interaction (aka using extractors or similar) This mean I'll have to create a separate set of Celestial (or whatever stats I want) ascended armour right? If I change the stats in one template via the Mystic Forge, it will remove the stats for any template that also contains that armour. In other words, the templates don't give you "free equipment" if that make sense, with the same exception of Legendary tier equipment?
  3. Thanks! I'll just think of templates as self-defined, character-specific bag slots for armour and weapons.
  4. Yea, I noticed that swapping the stat on one template won't affect the other templates; at least for legendary equipment. Yup! I'm playing scourge on my main. Thanks, I'll just craft another set of ascended armour then. Oh yea, sure! I just named my templates as such. Thanks. I understand that in PvP, stats are equalised for everybody correct? So it wouldn't matter if you had legendary vs someone only having exotic. For WvW, this isn't the case so it's definitely worth bringing ascended correct? I was hoping I could get away with exotic for cost reasons.
  5. I understand you can set your own templates and rename them but I want to ask some stuff before I do that so I don't waste unnecessary money. For example, I have Meteorlogicus equipped in both my PvE and WvW templates. What happens if I click on my WvW template and remove the sigil from the sceptre? Will it remove the sigil from both templates? How can I equip Meteorlogicus but have different sigils in each template? Do I have to craft another Meteorlogicus for the WvW template? For armour, it's also on both since I just copied the whole template over because I want the same transmutations for aesthetic reasons. I want to equip Trailblazer on my PvE template while equipping Celestial on my WvW template. I'm presuming I will have to craft additional armour for this? I cannot just change the ascended stats on the armour in the WvW template right? Then I have to equip the Celestial armour into the WvW template and transmute them right? Is there actually a cheaper, better way to get what I want? At the end of the day, I'm doing all this just because I want to have Celestial for WvW but Trailblazer for PvE so I thought the build template is perfect for this. I wouldn't have to carry a second set of equipment in my inventory and change it, piece by piece, every time. Thank you!
  6. Are they bugged? Specifically Nefarious Favour and Abrasive Grit. I can't count the number of times I died but could've survived if I managed to cleanse that ONE condition left. NF is on a 4 second cool down and I literally kept spamming trying to clean that one stack of poison and it just wouldn't go away. I got desperate and tried Abrasive Grit and it still wouldn't go away
