  1. Any ETA on when this will be fixed? Had to put crafting on hold.
  2. What Mirage Elite Utility Skill are your favorites or do you like to break out just for fun? If a Norn, do you prefer any of the Norn Elite skills? I am enjoying my NornStaff Mirage in casual open world, but can't seem to decide which elite utility skill to use. Thanks.😀
  3. I have been experimenting with different Runes on my condi Mirage for general open world mucking about, here are the results Rune Condition Duration Boon Duration Winds of Chaos Torment Time Winds of Chaos Damage (moving target) Nightmare 74 42 8 sec 779 Tempest 81 44 9 sec 733 Tormenting 54 42 10 sec 898 My understanding is most of staff condi mirage's damage comes from Torment and based on the above stats, Runes of Tormenting seem to be the best choice with Tempest the second choice, but the meta says otherwise, please explain why.
  4. So anyone who fully grasps all the ins and outs of engineer with Mech, what is the net result of this bit from the balance preview for Engineer. My reading is this means some boons that were generated by the Mech, originated on the engineer, meaning if the Mech was half way across them map, the engineer got the boons. With this change, with the Mech often out of boon range of the engineer, the engineer will getting the benefit of fewer boons. Since engineer and pet classes in general have very little control over their pets movement and proximity, this is a looks to be a major nerf. What do you think, major, minor, a wash somehow, what?
  5. Baffled: What does "fixed bug where mech was source of boons instead of Mech" mean?
  6. So I bought a Polyluminescent Undulating Refractor (Teal) infusion and applied it to an ascended ring, however my character still looks the same, no Teal Glow. Is this a bug or is there something else needed to make this work? I want a glowing teal skin tone.
  7. I was excited to see old Lion's Arch coming back, but after flailing about for several days of Wiki diving convoluted and obfuscated requirements for getting the Lion's Memory key, I am at loss. There is no top down guide of how to snag this key, one has to work backwards with arcane obtuse references through a series of achievements, collections, etc. (euphenisms for the mother of all quest chains) only to discover that most of them are buried within Living Story missions that can only be accessed sequentially if you missed them the first time around. I had no way of knowing up front that there are a huge slew of things to be done in the LS 1 Lion's Arch story that were requirements, and now the only way to get them is to restart the entire lengthy time consuming process. I have looked and can't find any guides that pull it all together and map out an efficient path to getting this key other than extensive repetition of the entire story line. I am sure some fan-boys will respond on how they got this in just a few hours, but who will also neglect to map out how they did it and how they knew how to do it. Very disappointed that old Lion's Arch seems out of reach for a casual player like myself with limited time to play.
  8. What does the circled icon in this picture stand for?
  9. Thanks, that is helpful, I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.
  10. For the last 3 weeks I have been running the "easy 3" strikes by joining LFG Goups which advertiser that. Bugs I encounter frequently: * Group advertise as Easy Three, when the pop up appears to join the instance it turns out to be Boneskinner or a strike other than the easy 3. * After completing the first "easy 3" , lets say Icebrood, the popup that appears next is Icebrood again.
  11. I have been running the easy 4 strikes every evening for a couple of weeks as a Alacrity/Heals Mech build. It seems like in every group a Necro often gets really low health bars during the fights. I have been healing them, but is this necessary, is it some kind of thing where they loose health to do some skill etc.? or are they often just plain squishy. Am I doing the right thing, or is it more important that I keep alacrity up?
  12. Man thanks, I can see there is a lot to work on here. Is there any way to practise, like a target golem that needs to be healed, or just jump into Strikes and try?
  13. I think I have a handle on providing alacrity, regen and barrier, but am kind of clueless on heals. What are some tips on how to be a successful HEAL/MECH?
