  1. I'm liking it too, running deathmagic (+300 condi dmg now!) and reaper to also lifesteal on straight damage and get some toughness, got all the dps and survivability anyone can ask for (outside of pvp) at the cost of sacrificing blood is power's cooldown a bit? wooooooorth (that's ~35k dps instead of 40k for practically 40% dmg reduction via perma prot & 300 tough and 5% omni lifesteal)
  2. As it is, harbinger feels very boring. It has few options compared to the other nec specs, no synergies to spot at all with preexisting traits unlike reaper with chill/blind stuff or scourge with burn, vit, vamp and corrupt stuff, and it bring no mechanically cool skills to the table. The elixir skills are incredibly bland and the shroud skills only really introduce 2-5 as skills that work somewhat differently compared to what we already had access to. For build variety there's only really glass condi or quickness pulse, both with mindnumbing rotations. Power variants are miserably weak after a burst, hybrid can't exist because the traits are split so hard. I already sank a little when the skills and traits where revealed, but held out hope. Usually i can make some builds that end up fun and strong. But when looking further into it and really wracking my mind for some unique runes or interesting builds or anything at all to do with it on release, i found nothing but disappointment. Harbinger is either strong but basic or utterly disconnected from anything else you want it to be. I did not have fun with this spec, it got lame extremely fast. Harbinger needs something to set it apart when it comes to actually new skills and needs to have interesting traits or skills that work well with core stuff.
  3. Condi reaper was already great, now it's slightly better
  4. Unless you're trying to speedrun, have a static group that needs a specific kind of build, or are trying to get in the groups that waste all day waiting for their utterly useless dream comp (you can just pug literally any frac without an elitist lfg and you'll be done 5x faster), just play whatever keeps you (and if you want, your team too) alive while dealing decent damage. As for the actual question, i see little reason to swap off plaguebringers. It's more than enough supp stats along with some condi dmg so you're not overly weak. You should only swap off it if YOU want to. The people who complain about others tend to just be weak moa farmers with overinflated egos.
  5. Your f5 procs entering shroud stuff, not f1 through 4
  6. Seriously just get better or mess with your build, not everything has to be starter area moa faceroll difficulty, although everything is.
  7. Weak is an understatement. This shouldn't even exist, it literally changes nothing. Even every single minor trait in the game is more useful. There's no way to make this trait useful and it has no synergy with any other traits or skills or even stats. Why the heck would you use blood bank? you're already never going to get one shotted with so much health to begin with, so there's really no point unless scholar runes are getting buffed by 9000% and boneskinner becomes the only boss in the game.
  8. plox 3v3 or 2v2 i love either much more than 5v5
  9. For PvP:A glassy reaper's great at teamfights and decent at 1v1s. Mobility is good. Can win 1v2s, too, just by having that aoe and high dmg, though reaper does demand you to learn how to abuse los and the environment in general to survive. You can play a tankier ammy but that just has less potential. A menders (glassier power doesnt work due to scourge's low dmg on shade skills;this allows you to support players while doing chip dmg) scourge is good for 2v2s and can bunker in 1v1s for a long time, but kinda falls behind in effectiveness for larger teamfights by being so easy to stunlock and having a hard time truly bursting people, though it can be built to have 8s of continuous stuns, allowing a good team to be much harder to stop. Core can try to bunker, but the higher your rank is the weaker it gets. People do learn to just pinball you to death. I haven't seen non-bunker core builds of any kind, since core allows you to become a meat shield so well. So it's kinda unexplored, might be worth looking into a higher dmg core build. I imagine the 1200 range cannonballs can be decent for whittling down a target.
  10. I had some fun builds but they got nerfed into the ground for some reason. I ended up making a dread-based reaper build so you can shroud 3 > 111 for ludicrous damage, because why have boring old survivability instead of big numbershttp://gw2skills.net/editor/?PSwAEd3lVwOYdMPWJOaXvtfA-zZIPkGFCZqC6YCYiB
  11. please refrain from deleting condireaper
  12. Focus for necro is used on power reaper builds. In PvE it's not superb but in PvP skill 5 is a nuke. Skill 4 can be used at any time to fill the shroud bar partially and put some vuln on enemies. I'd say go with nec if you like playing power reaper.
  13. Blood magic necros have some fun with this rune too but it's still honestly not very good
