  1. while i agree, that every weapon needs a buff still in terms of power dps, we have a decent variety of viable condi options on elementalist now. Staff Condi Weaver seems to be somewhat alright aswell as dagger condi weaver and some tempest options too. The buff we just got on power weaver ( using a sword ) is so underwhelming, that it leaves me speechless. Did they really think, making the cooldown on fire grab shorter and adding some minor damage buffs to auto attacks ups it by a lot? As someone who played the class excessively, i can tell the new " benchmark " might be close to 35k BEST case. Realistically it well be somewhat around 34.5 i assume. What we need is some change from buffing already strong classes to be even stronger ( baldesword, mechanist, specter) and buffing these who need buffs. Also we need to finally stop the damage up in condi specs and make power specs way better. These are mostly behind rn. You could have a great variety of good weapons on ele, scepter on tempest could be interesting, staff in general needs it's nerfs reverted, and sword on weaver needs a buff too, but generally weaver needs a buff, due to its selfish playstyle and the fact that with sword at least you are fully melee. (+ low health and armor)

  3. Well there are power based builds and then there are condi based builds ... Differences in encounter make either viable. About power weaver, it was one of the solid choices before this patch, since its damage was kinda high compared to other classes even tho it brought no buff to the group what other classes did. But now it is even outplayed by a lot of power based builds ( apart from reaper ) nearly every build is able to actually perform at least on a very similar lvl So regarding that, ele has no range option , lowest healt , lowest armor , no blocks or any great utilities if you want to go for dps ... and it also ads nothing but damage and mediocre cc to the grp So why should that be weaker than a holo , slb, dh and Mesmer then ? The fact that Mesmer and guardian are so dominant just shows how poor the balance decisions are. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t want to have an ele buff if other classes were brought to a reasonable lvl ... but since basically every other class got buffed, ele is kinda left behind when it comes to a power build. Not so much in fractals but in raids for sure.
  4. Ok let me be more specific: I am talking about group content. Raiding, fractals, strikes and dungeons ... there you want to use fiery greatsword since it gives a way better burst ... There is nothing wrong with the elemental buff, but the buff for the kind of content I am taking about kind is missing ... Ele ( power ) is in a weird spot right now ... it was before patch since boon stacking classes (dh chrono ) were better grp dps options And it is even more so now since other classes (especially soul beast) outshine it burst wise and buff wise (stance shared one wolf pack) and that is just one of few ...dh is still giving boons while doing same damage as before, chrono ist completely busted ... and engi also got a major buff and outshines ele in cc and equals it in damage and got a similar burst. But I think you get my now point now right ?

Hey , can we talk about why the last balance patch did buff nearly every power class in PvE but not ele.It was not even in a overpowered state before the patch but now it is kinda weak compared to nearly every other spec. Even if you don't just compare benchmark numbers, but also burst numbers and such, it is behind quite a lot of classes and will even played in a very skillfull manner have a hard time to outperform other classes like holo, soulbeast, not even to talk about mesmer (even after the recent hotfix) or guard (since the changes actually did nothing to it's damage) Ele is still the lowest hp class aswell as the one with the least armor and brings (at least on weaver ) nothing but dps and a tiny bit of cc to a fight in pve grp content. It is really disheartening to see arenanet throwing massive buffs around (holo 10%+ heal on a grandmaster trait, soulbeast twice as vicious and skirmishing buff, mesmer 15% modifier on himself and illusions, guardian virtues 10% modifier for 6 seconds) but ele is not gettin anything besides kinda useless reworks of elementals ( which noone ever uess in grp content anyways) It might be fine as a condi spec, but not every fight is designed around condition damage and it would really be fun to see this class to shine as a power spec in pve again aswell. Doesn't have to be broken op but a small buff would be justified i guess. Thanks.
  6. The Feel my Wratch change in most cases is actually leading to the opposite you intend.The problem with it was guardian stacking ( either Firebrand or Dragonhunter). So after some simple math you can still stack Firebrands in the way you did before without dropping quickness. And you can still stack DHs as before as long as you have 1 Chrono in your squad (which was already needed before ). Here a simple example: Old shout 45 seconds cd - 8 seconds of quicknes : With alacrity: 36 seconds cd- 8 seconds of quickness ( so with 3 dhs in a subgrp, the chrono overflow quickness had to fill 12 seconds ) New shout 35 seconds cd- 5 seconds of quickness : With alacrity: 28 seconds cd- 5 seconds os quickness ( so with 3 dhs in a subgrp, the chrono overflow quickness has to fill 13 seconds ) WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING on firebrand it is also still enough quickness if you have 3 of them in each subrgp with liberators vow and quickness shout. LEADS ME TO THE POINT WHERE THIS CHANGE MAKES IT ACTUALLY WORSE:Fractals: in high end fractals there are quite a few encounters where you were able to synergize moa stance of the slb and a quickness shout to just get enough quickness for the phase (namely 16 seconds ) now you can just generate 10 seconds this way. Sure you might wanna think: "ok the dh has to go firebrand then " but if you face reality " you will just replace 1 dps class with ANOTHER dh to actually have enough quickness for the entire thing. Conclusion: you tried to avoid guardian stacking in raids... which you failed on dear ArenaNet and managed to create a demand for guardian stacking in some fractal encounters (i am speaking of high end grps ) where it was not actually needed before.THANKS FOR THAT!
  7. So you got 140 slots which I assume are seven 20 slot bags ... just craft the 32 slot bags and you got 84 slots moreIt is even available as ingame reward
  8. i did test it in a full benchmark scenario on power weaver and burning rage pulls ahead what it shouldn't ... then i tested some single skills which is more reliable... and it is clear that burning rage has a 10% modifier on it which is not intended... the question i cannot answer at this point... is it a 10% vs burn or a 10% while in fire modifier
  9. After a lot of testing on power ele, i am nearly 100% sure that burning rage even tho it is not mentioned in the tool tip anymore has it's 10% modifier still. In fact power overwhelming should be the better choice on power builds now by far, but you get better results with burning rage. Quick example: fire grab (so full attune fire ) does full buffed 25-26k on burning rage and just 24-25k on power overwhelming. in fact power overwhelming should be higher.
  10. THIS exactly is what i thought... why not make power overwhelming a power is converterd into ferocity instead of making it another useless trait... so you could have a strong condi and power build on the class
