  1. Well hopefully this'll teach me to check before I buy gem codes 😩 Same problem here on GFN, just commenting to add my voice and so I can follow the thread.
  2. This is such nice news to wake up to. Thanks so much NCSoft/Anet.
  3. @"Perihen the Thawk.9527"They might mean this MassivelyOP article, but it only mentions GW2 because it's an MMO news site, there isn't any statement from Anet or NCSOFT there. It just says "Nvidia’s blog explains as a result of publishers “still figuring out their cloud strategies.”" which could mean anything for any of the games being pulled. Plus, the article might not even be accurate in saying they opted out. Tabletop Simulator was one of the games that was announced by Nvidia to be leaving, but the devs were just unaware of the new opt-in system and opted back when they were told about it on reddit, from what I can tell the article's only source for claiming the companies opted out is that list by Nvidia. I haven't seen any articles mentioning a statement from Anet but I'll keep looking. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a miscommunication problem on Nvidia's part. The opt-in system seems to be integrated with Steam having a cloud gaming opt-in setting, and if that is how Nvidia are selling it/asking other companies of course GW2 wouldn't be a part, but League of Legends has been on GFN for a while and will stay on after this change and that game is only available directly through the launcher no other storefront, so it shouldn't be dependant on Steam or anything.
  4. I was thinking about it. Usually when I've seen people ask about other games they get a generic response, but I suppose it couldn't hurt. With things like this you can never know if your message will get through to the people who make the decisions.
  5. I use GFN so I'll preface this with the fact I could be biased. My PC runs GW2 ok (HoT maps made me stop due to pretty bad FPS but PoF maps were fine) and I wasn't expecting to use GFN for GW2, but I was really surprised when I did. It might be that I have a decent internet speed and am close to the Nvidia server I connect to, but I didn't notice any lag. I don't play SPvP but I couldn't tell the difference in terms of latency between the stream and playing normally on any WvW or PvE map I've been on. @kharmin.7683 I don't know about decent chunk, but there are dozens of us! DOZENS!
  6. While I can understand the reasoning behind that I'm pretty sure games can be opted out of the mobile/android version of GFN. For example the whole of The Witcher series is available to play on GFN if you are on PC but on the mobile app of GFN the only Witcher game is Gwent.A GW2 mobile game and GW2 on GFN should feasibly be able to coexist without one taking potential users because the platform wouldn't be shared.Basically I'm hoping someone high up sees this and I can bring someone round to opting in
  7. Nvidia have said there's no cost to the devs or publishers, so that makes me hopeful there could be an agreement.
  8. As another player who has been using Geforce Now as their main way of playing GW2 for months (must be half a year or more now) I'd like to add my voice as support for GW2 to opt in to the service. I basically had to quit as I couldn't really run HoT maps well so Geforce Now has been amazing for me letting me continue to play.
