I see no problem. When Alliances goes into final development phase, lets say 2028-2034, Floyd will return to Anet to take over the lead again and finalize the project. Nothing unusual, happens a lot at my work on a daily basis: person X tells person Y "Hey, I go for a coffee. Back in ten minutes, just in case someone calls." . . . and usually no one calls anyway. 😏

Reading the title, there was cleary no other option for the thread to be like "everybody is cheating except me, thats why I lose all the time" 😏 So lets face the truth now: since you are evidently the best player in this game, no one can beat you without cheats, as you say, so thats why everybody is cheating vs. you 🫠

Its absolutely your own fault. When you stack-on-tag all the time you get bombed all the time. Damage/Strips/CCs dont spread and they dont spread equally, even if you stack as hard as you can. It may work if you are against a cloud of only 25 defenders that just try to do their dailies. It may work vs. another zerg that also plays stack-on-tag with 25 out of 50 people on support. But in a real large scale fight you dont really expect to be able to face tank your opponent by face rolling over your keyboard, do you ? If there is a brain behind that face, please try to evade red circles. Damage/Strips/CCs only "spread" when you spread 🤗 (I mean this should have become obvious to everyone meanwhile. Stack-on-tag is not the Meta, but just an odd playstyle that is preferred by some. And sadly „some“ includes most Coms. It is only superior in one single situation: lags. Back in 2013, when people could only use auto attacks in big SMC fights, it was the Meta, agreed, but thats long ago.) And how much is "EVERY"? When I last looked, the Meh-ta was: FB has 90% of all stab and stun breaks and meme scourge and how-stupid-can-they-be-to-create-a-"meta"-build-without-any-stab-or-stunbreak-for-a-GUARD-meme-DH they just get stab-stripped and pulled by other meme scourge and meme DH 👀 😸

Sorry for my rude tongue. 🫠 I'm curious why you think my post suggests that I want you to play in a specific way? The TO expressed their dislike, asked nicely if Coms with hidden tag could make it visible. Or if not, what their reasons are, so the TO can change their mind. For my part, if I decide to participate in a team game, I enjoy my part of freedom and simultaneously adapt to the playstyles of others. So if you want to break it down to your two extremes, „play as you want“ and „people (or me in your case?) want others to play in a specific way“, I totally disagree, cause there's a lot of space in between these two extremes. And that's what I enjoy as teamplay. Have a nice one! 👍

I dont know if they are true commanders ingame so I used the " ". The TO made the assumption that making tags visible makes WvW more enjoyable? I disagree, imo its better that groups who dont want to participate in teamplay just stay hidden. Otherwise people would realize that the keep that was close to Tier 2 got lost, even there were groups on the map, but they just wanted to "play their own special game mode", where defending is for noobs. And that they blocked the map, so no one could come for help and the keep got flipped. And people would realize that there are some special "public zergs" that rather kick casuals and lose all fights all evening before they would fill up the squad with casuals and win at least some of these fights. I just added the braindead, because its the usual stuff: just because most players don't function in the tactic the com wants to play doesnt mean the players are bad, it means that the com's tactic is bad. So imo its better that these coms keep their tag hidden, and the players that want and are able to play that specific playstyle usually have no problem with finding the hidden tag. They log into voice chat and ask where the tag is. When you ask for reasons to hide tags, guess what, you will cause more coms to hide their tag, cause you provide them with inspiration and excuses. If you want to make coms run open / public you should ask for good reasons for and not against that. For example if I see a com that is known for kicking casuals and not defending, I will leave the map cause its already lost. So they can do their PPK and I will find another map where I can play WvW with people that also want to play WvW. win-win In the end, you can just fill your friendlist with names of known coms and players, so you will have no problems to spot hidden tags and then decide which map is to be avoided.

one of the best side contents you always find people to fight with if you visit a veteran creature in enemy territory when the daily is on 😅 half of them are afk, easy kills 🤡 and all others that fight will somehow damage the veteran creature and get the reward you can even create your own personal event mod: "protect the veteran creature from all enemies" 😅 (i did that once and it was fun)
