  1. Bifrost and Eternity are my favorites of the ones I have - I still pause occasionally to admire the effects as my characters run around with them. Astralaria is my favorite of the ones I don't own.
  2. There are only two reasons I've ever quit an MMO (as in deleted from my computer and never logged in again). A ) It never hooked me to begin with.B ) I didn't like where the story/characters were going. I'm perfectly happy to spend months logging in for a few minutes every day until new content comes out. Especially if I'm not paying a sub fee. So unless ANet completely drops the ball storywise, I might be around forever.
  3. Knight of the Thorn, because that quest chain was such a nice tribute to Caladbolg and its bearers, especially Trahearne, and so meaningful as a sylvari PC.
  4. I hadn't heard of these before yesterday, and looking through their catalogue, I can see why - I guess I don't play the right sort of games. A bunch of unfamiliar faces except for Minsc and Boo over there... Wait. Minsc and Boo? I suddenly have important things to do! Add Faren and Canach plz ANet kthx bye!
  5. I'm moderately satisfied. The story looks good enough to keep me playing, even though I'm not interested in Braham, Rytlock or charr in general. If it's fairly reactive to a norn player character I'll be even happier - I've got several of those who've just been sitting around on a back burner. We're getting some new maps and the new masteries sound reasonably cool. Overall, not too bad. Plus I got a free quaggan. Quaggans make everything better.
  6. I don't see a single thing I care about in the first option. Except maybe "completely new types of content," but that could mean anything.
  7. Agree.. for me Brahm is the least enjoyable member of the story arcs it simply does not hold any interest for me.. here's to hoping Jormag finally devourers him once and for all, slowly and painfully, just before Trehearne comes back through the mists with Dumbledor to drive home the final blow. Unfortunately, Braham is the only norn we've got hanging around in our general vicinity at the moment, so any norn focus is pretty much going to mean a Braham focus. Though we will apparently be meeting a female norn who looks like she'll be a major player in this season. Maybe she'll steal the spotlight from mini Eir. We can only hope.
  8. They gave out free quaggan squishies in the gift bag at the show. That must mean something, right? Besides the obvious fact that quaggans are super cute.
  9. I wasn't expecting the focus on charr, which is disappointing for me personally, because they're... not my favorites. I'm glad we'll be hearing more about the Spirits of the Wild, though, and possibly spending a good chunk of time with the kodan. I'll just have to do my usual trick and whenver charr - or Braham - come on screen, turn off my speakers and wait until they go away again :p
  10. I was there and got the t-shirt, but wearing it in the game would just look weird to me. So it'll sit and be pretty in my wardrobe.
  11. I decided to take the day off and make the trip, all in hopes of some sweet, sweet loot. Just need to pry myself out of bed at 5am tomorrow. At least I can still watch the steam if I oversleep!
  12. My home instance in the Grove is starting to feel crowded. There are lots of NPCs wandering around, a ragtag herd of cats, gathering nodes, garden plots, the kitchen, the hero point pond, and all sorts of odd nooks and crannies and bridges leading various places. I do sometimes wish I could use a mount or my glider to get around but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied.
  13. I've got a few things left on my list after all the sales, so just in case you want more of my money, ANet... Job-O-Tron BackpackFeathers of the Zephyr GliderNoble's Folly PassMini Festive Lord Faren
