  1. Yeah, if they don't give us aquariums and only used for cooking, this may die off fast. Also, I can see us getting more cats depending on the kind of fish we catch or something else involving it. Plus I can see aquariums also being added to guild halls as furniture, but we'll have to wait and see how far they'll go. May be added during launch or sometime after.
  2. If we do get aquariums, I hope we get to display all of the fish we catch instead of some like in a certain game... Though if we do get them, I'm assuming they'll have it so certain aquariums can hold specific types of fish based on the body of water and their size if they really want to go into details.
  3. Well, people have said that getting things balanced would be to do away with the professions being different, which is even more unlikely to happen. But there are games that at least try to close the gaps (FF14 seems rather decent at that). In GW2 it feels too much all over the place and an additional profession would make it even worse. In all honesty, FF14's and GW2's stories are different. I'd be honestly overly impressed if ANet can pull it off.
  4. Not sure if someone has said this on the previous 60 pages, but maybe a way to hide male chest armor? It has been asked a couple times before, but if not, I do have a thread as another way to get it in a sense. (Plus we have seen Olmakhan Charrs without chest armor so...)

  6. They could, if they have the money and time, add elite specs for it in parts. It'd keep players coming back to see what the new elite is and also probably up the sales for the expansion. Though, I did see people saying the same it's less likely we'd get a new race as well.
  7. Funny enough, I did make a thread about maybe getting a new profession as well. Even had the idea it could act like a dragoon, possibly? It'd honestly be rather interesting if we could use spears on land and balancing is, like others have said, an illusion to achieve unless they do away with what makes them unique.
  8. Well, with new elites coming, which would be odd if they didn't, we would be getting a balance update. Hopefully Necromancer finally dodges the nerf bullets.
  9. It would be unlikely. A new profession would be a lot of developement/work and unending adjustment/tweak to achieve an illusion of balance. Granted the heavy fosuc of ANet on balance these last years, I doubt a new profession would be a viable option. Now, don't get me wrong, to bring back or gather new players it would be a great selling point. Yet I doubt it would be cost effective in the end. Very true, but before Revenant was released, weren't those saying the same thing? Still, it would be a welcomed surprise if ANet did indeed add a new profession. Just got to wait for another video or announcement to drop about what will be new for the expansion. Before rev the game had only 2 heavy classes and no elite specs. Yeah, I remember someone telling me how elite specs were amazing when they came with HoT. Though I am now thinking they'd have to make 3 elite specs for the new profession if we do get them. (Which they could work on after the expansion's release and slowly add them when they're ready, if they can afford to do that and have enough time to work on it along with patches and such.)
  10. Honestly, I feel like July or October would be the best bet. Though, Decemeber 2022, really? That'd be way, way after everyone loses the hype in my opinion, which would hurt the sales...
  11. It is possible, when the Nightfang Griffon skin came out, I was able to get it from a Black Lion Chest.

  13. Not sure how likely this could be, but it'd most certainly interesting to have a new profession like how we get Revenant with the Heart of Thorns expansion if my memory serves correctly (sorry if I'm way off.) I kinda hope that we'd get one that could use spears on land (I'd link the posts that I saw back then if I could find them again,) maybe something that acts like a dragoon with medium armor? Could use shortbows, sword, and warhorn (that's all I can think of at the moment.) It would be interesting to Aurene's power with this profession, but I kinda got the feeling that'd be least likely. If you guys got a way to make this better or got an idea for what could be the new profession if there will be one.
  14. Sorry if this counts as a necro-post, but I'm curious if it's possible that a god could become a legendary stance for Revenant. It would make for an interesting elite. Just, not sure if it'd be possible for a god, or well, a fallen god like Dhuum could become a stance or not.
  15. Yeah, I find it honestly odd that there's only one. Not to mention it'd be nice for medium to have more variations than slight copies of the same thing.
