If people pay attention to the "vents pressure" timer and get back to the tank, it's easy to break it and then the boss goes down quick. Otherwise the fight will be a drag.

In fairness, Aurene stated that while sitting in the Eye she's simultaneously flying around the Mists repairing Kralkatorrik's damage. If any of this works at all intuitively, which granted it doesn't necessarily, that would mean that at the very least a pretty big facet of her is separated, so the physical form we see only represents a fraction of her power. The only representation we've gotten of her full form was during the LWS4 end cinematic, and that was somewhat abstract, but was definitely bigger than the Aurene we see now.

I agree. This has been twice now that Jormag has appeared to us just to be cryptic and vague about being on our side. Especially with the commander constantly seeing the rather contradictory constant whispers leading people to freeze and die in the Marches, it's starting to verge on bad writing even if there is some explanation that comes up later. (My headcanon is that it's the Torment of Jormag that is whispering to the Svanir and various Pact members and allies, while the actual consciousness of Jormag only contacts us through the Fraenir and the Whisper-entity/Rimewhisper doppelganger we see in the vision.) It seems like the spirits were only 'purified' for long enough to grant Braham their blessing. This isn't a permanent state. They probably don't care to explain any of that, honestly. My guess is simply that all Spirits of the Wild are linked to the Mists, and the Mists are an infinite well of magic.

Oldest surviving race? Quite possibly, but we know so little about the dragons' origins (a question that has just recently become possible to even coherently talk about) that there is no way to argue for or against that.
