Interested here as well. Returning player who used to be more hardcore but have settled down with marriage and career so I game more casually these days. I exclusively play Charr as do some of my friends so the theme fits.

Polar bear is good open world tank when you need it since its F2 is 400 aoe breakbar damage. Its dps is too low for instanced pve though

The bumps used to have exclamation points but now they dont

If youre talking instances pve then the second pet is typically jungle stalker to help with might or gazelle for breakbar. If open world main pet becomes a different conversation because stuff like jungle stalker and jacaranda are typically more useful when playing solo than tiger. A good 2nd pet would be gazelle or polar bear for the breakbar/tank combo (gazelle better break, bear better tank). Of the two gazelle is more useful more often but polar bear is a sleeper pick after the buffs, especially for those who dont yet have gazelle. Thing never dies and melts bars with its F2 lol

I guess but even when people are speaking for performance, I still see people recommend either pet when gazelle is clearly superior

Why do so many people choose wyvern over gazelle when the gazelle is tankier and has shorter cooldowns on both CC skills?
